Hello, travellers of time and space!
Since the last news update, there have been several sub-updates - these were entirely focused on making bug-fixes to the Story Mode campaign, however, the content meat is yet to come.
It's been a while, but now it's time to discuss the upcoming v1.3.0 update to Dinodrifters.
Firstly, the v1.3.0 update will address some vital bugs that have been reported to me - the biggest one, the occasional crash at game start, will be addressed. I know what the issue is and it's close to being fixed - I ask only for a little more time to get this out there and working well.
As for gameplay features, there will be some tasty new content in v1.3.0. The most exciting of which are the two new maps to play on!
One is Cuddie Springs of Australia, 0.04 mya. It'll be a mammal-focused map featuring unique megafauna and geological traps. It's shaping up to be quite an interesting time and place to play in!
The second is going to be a new Mesozoic map, focused on of course, more dinosaurs! More on this when v1.3.0 comes closer to release.
As for the time of release, for now, I cannot say. It's coming, for sure, but I cannot give a date. I'm aiming for a release date before the end of Summer (Late August), and I'll do my best to achieve that. Worst comes to worst, I'll release the bug fixes and one of the maps instead, but I'd love to release with the two, though. Here's hoping!
Thanks for your time!
See you... out there!
