Steam ID finder & converter
Find your Steam ID from a profile link, custom ID or another Steam ID format.
How to find your Steam ID
Open your Steam profile and copy its page URL. Paste it above and choose Find Steam ID, then copy the format you need. Profile links start with steamcommunity.com/id/ for a custom URL or steamcommunity.com/profiles/ for a numeric SteamID64.
Already signed in to GaugeDB? Your Steam IDs appear automatically. You can still look up another profile. See Steam’s account and ID guidance for more help.
SteamID64, SteamID2 and SteamID3
- SteamID64
- The 17-digit account identifier used in numeric Steam Community profile links.
- SteamID2
- The legacy format, such as STEAM_0:0:12345. Equivalent STEAM_1 inputs are also accepted.
- SteamID3
- An individual account written as [U:1:24690]. The final number is its 32-bit Account ID.
Steam ID lookup questions
No. Your Steam ID identifies your account; your display name can change. Enter your public profile link or ID here, rather than your Steam login name or password.
Yes. Numeric ID conversion does not need access to your profile or game library. It converts the identifier only; it does not confirm that an account exists or reveal private data.
Check that the link opens your profile in Steam. Custom URLs can change, and resolving them needs a working Steam lookup. If that lookup is unavailable, try your numeric SteamID64 instead.
