Daily Challenges
This major update adds a new game mode, the Daily Challenge. Here are some details on how it works:
Once you've beaten at least one run at any difficulty you can access "Daily Challenge" from the main menu.
Each day of the week features one character class with a new set of 3 to 4 starting abilities. For any particular date, the class and abilities are the same for all players.
The Daily Challenge is typically harder than the normal game since you start with fewer abilities. Can you win a Shadow run without Backstab? What about using the Oracle without Teleport? In our experience, it feels like playing at least 2 difficulty levels higher than the normal game. Figuring out how to finish the run while utilizing new abilities is part of the fun!
You can view and play up to a week of previous dates.

Mondays: Trooper
Tuesdays: Shadow
Wednesdays: Oracle
Thursdays: Charger
Fridays: Hunter
Saturdays: Witch
Sundays: One randomized class of the six
The game stores some stats of your Daily Challenge runs. If you beat a run on your very first try (without losing or abandoning the run) you will be awarded a "First Try Win" and a sparkle will appear next to the medal you earned in the Daily Challenge menu. The game also stores your "Win Streak" and "Total Wins".
All character classes and abilities are unlocked during the Daily Challenge regardless of your unlock progression in the main game. Playing the Daily Challenge will not earn green gems for unlocks.
Controller Vibration Added
Vibration effects have been added when playing the game with a controller or on Steam Deck. If you prefer the game without them they can be turned off with Settings>General>Vibration.
Bug Fixes

Fixed bug in which Throwing Knives restock cost at different upgrade levels was inconsistent (should always be 1 gold)
Fixed Charger's portrait above the passives list being the Trooper's colors
Fixed a bug where the Oracle or Witch could get trapped and have no moves available and not receive a Deus Ex Chovy Bubbleship Ticket

Improved level generation so that higher NG+ levels will generate with a less choppy framerate, particularly on lower-powered machines.
Bug Fixes

Fixed bug in which when Mitzi reveals a cluster of non-road tiles with the same number, you could inadvertently reveal the King or another enemy if they were hidden in the cluster.
Mitzi no longer always has 20 gold when you load a game (this was from Rich triggering incorrectly)
"Uses per level" traits (ie Sneak, Magic Flute, Sixth Sense, etc) now save and load their uses remaining correctly
Fully fixed bug in which the game flow would break if the King created too many bombs during the final boss fight (could only happen on high NG+ levels).
UI/UX Changes

D-Pad works to move the scroll bar on Achievements screen
English: Fixed copy issues with class descriptions (Hunter no longer refers to "mana" and all instances of "enemies" and "energy" are lowercase)

This patch features fixes for a few typos and achievements. We also fixed some issues where traits could be combined into exploits we felt broke the spirit of the game. Stop by our Discord to let us know what you think of the updates.
Bug Fixes

Painless achievement only unlocks on Normal difficulty or higher (matches description)
Make Haste achievement only unlocks on Normal difficulty or higher (matches description)
English: Pacifist achievement description is more accurate.
English: Fixed typo in the description of Safe Mode.
Gameplay Updates

Flow State now has a 7 turn cooldown instead of 6 for at all upgrade levels.
Teleport at level 3 is no longer a Free Action, but instead costs 0 energy.
Desperate Hour is removed from the Cymbidium trait pool, ie Shadow and Hunter can no longer get it. This is to prevent an exploit where you could easily get infinite free Backstabs.
