So what even is DreadHaunt? It's a multiplayer horror game where someone in your group is lying.

Deception puts 3-5 players in a mission together. One of you gets possessed at the start. That player still looks normal. Runs around doing objectives, talks like nothing's wrong. But they're sabotaging the whole thing. Wasting supplies. Setting traps where you're about to walk. Nobody knows who it is. Sabotage enough and they transform into a Spectromorph. That's when the act drops and the hunt begins.

Every match has two sides, with someone in between. Agents work together to complete objectives. The possessed player acts like one of them. Sabotaging the mission, setting traps, pretending to help. Once they've done enough damage, they transform. That's when the Spectromorph reveals itself and the real hunt begins. Each Spectromorph plays different. Unique skills, different hunting styles.
Deception (3-5 players). One gets possessed. Pretend to be a teammate, sabotage the mission, set traps. Transform into a Spectromorph and reveal yourself.
Versus. Skip the lying. Spectromorph versus agents, straight to the chase.
Co-op Ghost Hunting. Team up and clear the ghosts. That's the whole thing.
Single player. First person. Uncover whatever's going on behind the scenes in DreadHaunt. Solo.
Crossplay. PC and Xbox, same lobbies.
Assault Mode. Done sneaking around? Go loud. Co-op FPS.

We’ve just released a hotfix to address issue that was preventing players from receiving XP in DreadHaunt Solo/Co-op Mode and other bugs. It contains:

Bug fix that previously prevents player not gaining XP on Co-Op/Solo Mode
Fixed Mamat/Agent Betjeng mesh messing with first person camera
Fixed Assault Mode UI HUD state indicator showing different text on client
Added several names to Credits
This update now allows you to continue your haunting and gain rewards for your hard work! We also humbly apologize for the inconvenience caused by this particular bug.
