So what even is DreadHaunt? It's a multiplayer horror game where someone in your group is lying.
Deception puts 3-5 players in a mission together. One of you gets possessed at the start. That player still looks normal. Runs around doing objectives, talks like nothing's wrong. But they're sabotaging the whole thing. Wasting supplies. Setting traps where you're about to walk. Nobody knows who it is. Sabotage enough and they transform into a Spectromorph. That's when the act drops and the hunt begins.
Every match has two sides, with someone in between. Agents work together to complete objectives. The possessed player acts like one of them. Sabotaging the mission, setting traps, pretending to help. Once they've done enough damage, they transform. That's when the Spectromorph reveals itself and the real hunt begins. Each Spectromorph plays different. Unique skills, different hunting styles.
