I've been working hard since the last update to add online multiplayer support to some of the previous matches, as well as creating some brand new match types, and all of these are now available in the new update.
New Modes
There's 10 returning and new modes in this update, making a total of 22 now in Mini Matches! Here's what to expect when you boot up the game:
Eat And Get Longer
Race to collect the most points in this match where you can't stop moving. As you score, you increase your length and grow a trail that can block other players - and yourself!
The Floor is Lava
It's a race to the finish line, but you're all jumping on tiny platforms above a lake of lava. Is speed or accuracy the winner?
Hold Onto The Flag
Grab the flag, and hold onto it for the longest. Other players can shoot you and take it from you, so you'd better sharpen those running and hiding skills!
Drop Bombs and Survive
Trapped in a destructable maze, drop bombs behind you to blast your way to some power-ups, and then use your larger explosions to corner your enemies and destory them.
Shoot Three Arrows
It's a show-down of accuracy in this archery match. You get three attempts to hit a moving target, and the player with the most accurate shooting wins.
Cross The Road
Be the first across to win. But you only have one life, so tread carefully.
Don't Drop The Ball
Dust off your volleyball skills in this sport-inspired mode. Bounce the ball away from your side of the court and past your opponents. Plus in Mini Matches it's completely legal to jump the net and interefere with your enemy!
Tank Duel
You're in a tank. Shoot your enemies before they shoot you.
Ready Your Lance
A head-to-head match where everyone is holding a lance, and positioned above a lake of lava. Jump between platforms and use your lance to push other players down while avoiding their attempts to do the same to you.
Don't Touch The Bottom
And finally, one of my personal favourites. Instead of shooting your opponents directly, undermine their position on the map and drop them off the bottom.

Bug Fixes
Fixed the game crash if you unlocked something then quit the game directly.
Improved UI showing points you can spend.
Now you can't unlock ability upgrades unless you've also unlocked that character.
Arrows now show correctly in instructions.
Key and button icons now show correctly in the end-game screen.
Minor bug fixes for Protect Your Boundary with Medusa's ability.
Switched networking backend from Steam to Epic Online Services.
Back button icons now show up correctly.
Added option to join lobbies using a four letter code.
Objects moving along a path now sync correctly in online matches.
Added timeouts for some modes that often take too long.
Added a 30 second timeout when it's only bots remaining in a match.

I'm still working on a couple more modes, and some smaller features, so keep your eyes peeled for another update next year. There's some bigger news coming too, but that will be for a future announcement 👀
