This patch contains several fixes, tweaks and improvements to AI Vendetta. We have been making changes to some of the interfaces to provide more feedback during certain Boss Battles. Some of the Boss battles have also been tweaked and improved for a better experience. And of course this patch contains many small fixes and changes which you can see in the list below.
Finally, we have also been adding some new features! Proto, our protagonist, has been featured in many seasonal events. Now you can also select these alternate versions of Proto in the new Skins menu. By completing the game you will also unlock the “Golden” Proto skin and you will be able to start a New Game+. Completing the game now also enables the secret radar! This optional feature will notify you while playing to indicate that an undiscovered secret is nearby. You can now also listen to the music of AI Vendetta in the new Jukebox mode after completing the game. In addition to the beta levels that were released with patch 1.002, you can now also play some of the cut content that didn’t make it into the final game after finding all hidden secrets.
With that we hope that you will enjoy playing AI Vendetta even more with the new patch! Of course we are always happy to receive your feedback, ideas and bug reports here on Steam or through our website.

Updates 1.004
Features

New Game+ (Replay the game but keep all of your abilities and discovered secrets).
5 new skins for Proto to choose from in the Options menu and 1 more that is unlocked upon completing the game.
Jukebox Mode through the Extras menu upon completing the game.
The Cut Content level, playable from the Extras menu upon completing the game and finding all secrets.
The Secret Radar, which will help detect undiscovered secrets after completing the game. Can be turned off in the options menu.

Fixes and tweaks

Fixed issue where the screen could remain black when playing a level directly after having completed the game (without restarting the game).
Fixed issue where some of the ammo pickups in Sector 4 Level 4 were partially placed inside walls.
Fixed issue where the container robot would sometimes not steer in the intended direction when playing with a controller.
Fixed issue where the Laser Turret in Sector 4 Level 5 could not always be damaged by reflecting its own laser.
Fixed issue where the laser attack of Boss 5 would originate from its base instead of its chest.
Fixed issue where during one of the end-game cutscenes two instances of Proto could remain visible on screen.
Fixed graphical issue with the race challenges where the red line could glitch depending on the camera angle.
Slightly increased the animation speed of Terminals.
Fixed issue where during Boss 5 the wrong music would sometimes be played.
Fixed that the player could be locked out of the shielded turret encounter in 3-2.

Good news! AI Vendetta is back with another update, the team has been on a bug hunt and managed to find quite a few. Luckily they have now been addressed in the new summer update 1.003.
This update goes hand in hand with the current summer discount, so this is the perfect time to pick up AI Vendetta (if you haven’t already) and give it a try!
Of course our work is never finished and we will continue to support AI Vendetta, so be sure to let us know if you run into any issues while playing! Fixes and Tweaks:

Terminal Text Speed was upped by 25%.
Smash Robot vision range has been further increased from 4 to 5.
Fixed issue where enemies could trigger the “Better than EMP” achievement if they would stun other enemies with their stun attacks.
Fixed issue where the movement sound of smash robots would continue to play after they had been destroyed.
Fixed issue where the raise arms sound would not play for smash robots.
Smash Robot, Patrol Robot and Flame Robot now have a particle effect when they are defeated.
Fixed issue where triggers would keep responding to the player’s laser attack during cutscenes.
Fixed issue where some of the music did not play during Sector 3, 4 and 5.
Fixed issue where you could drive slightly into the geometry in Boss 1.
Fixed issue where in Sector 3 Level 1 you could skip a part of the level by taking the explosive barrels to the second section.
Fixed issue where the secret pickup in Sector 3 Level 2 would not actually give the player a bonus upgrade.
Fixed issue where the player would start in the wrong location in Sector 3 Level 3.
Fixed issue where one of the Logic Gate Sockets would not actually open up the door in Sector 3 Level 3.
Fixed issue where in Sector 3 Level 3 the turrets would sometimes stop rotating.
Fixed issue where in Sector 3 Level 3 the leaking pipes would use the incorrect particle making their damage area seem smaller than it actually is.
Fixed some level geometry issues in Sector 3 Level 4.
Fixed issue where the secret door in Sector 3 Level 4 would always be unlocked.
Fixed issue where if the player would respawn before the miniboss in Sector 3 Level 5 the door could be closed.
Fixed issue where in Sector 4 Level 2 one of the doors would be unlocked before the puzzle was completed.
Added railing to side of catwalk in Sector 4 Level 4 to prevent the player from falling off.
Fixed issue where a cutscene in Sector 4 Level 5 would trigger when only one half of the puzzle was solved.
Moved respawn point for floating plane puzzle and made sure the player can drive around both sides of the puzzle in Sector 4 Level 5.
Tweaked Boss 4 with more health containers and disabled respawning for rotor robots.
Fixed issue where Proto’s underbody would sometimes be weirdly rotated upon starting Boss 4 due to a physics issue.
Fixed physics issue where in Sector 5 Level 1 the player could be pushed upwards over the walls in Utility Mode.
Fixed physics issue where in Sector 5 Level 1 the player could not always get back up on certain ramps.
Fixed issue where a turret was placed beneath the level in Sector 5 Level 1.
Fixed issue where the container bot in Sector 5 Level 2 could sometimes not allow the player to drive over it.
Fixed issue in Sector 5 Level 2 where the laser turret would not fire its laser.
Fixed Physics issues in Sector 5 Level 2 where the player could potentially fall through the floor.
Fixed soft-lock when using the same terminal twice and then alt-tabbing out of the game and then back.
Fixed issue where replaying levels would sometimes flag the last available level as completed.
Fixed issue where restarting a level would not always reset the player’s stats causing achievements like "Tactician" and "Undetected" to not unlock.
Fixed level design issue which made the "Tactician" achievement impossible.
Moved achievement “Undetected” to Sector 4 Level 3 (instead of level 5 of that sector).
Steam Achievements will now trigger directly instead of when closing down the game.

Update 1.002 is now live!
AI Vendetta has been out for a while but that doesn’t mean we’ve stopped developing it! We’ve been looking at some of the bugs that were still left in the game as well as possible improvements to the game. Therefore, we’ve come up with several bug fixes but also some improvements

We’ve been looking at some of the bugs that were still left in the game as well as possible improvements to the game. Therefore, we’ve come up with several bug fixes but also some improvements to the game, focusing mainly on making the AI more challenging by adding new behaviors and refining the existing ones. Additionally, it’s the holiday season, so we’ve added a festive surprise to the game as well as bonus content for those who complete the game!

Boss 3 difficulty tweaks to add more challenge.
Boss 3 fixed missing particles.
Player rocket fire rate has been slightly increased.
Added additional explanation about wind funnels to sector 3 Level 2.
Fixed issue where in certain situations you could not damage Boss 5 during phase 2.
Fixed issue where the player’s magnet ability would sometimes stay enabled during boss 5 after releasing an obstacle.
Fixed issue where the profile page would not correctly update after having completed the game.
Fixed level select issue when the last played level was the final boss fight.
Fixed issue in terminal where the arrow keys/controller would navigate incorrectly through buttons.
AI

AI characters now have an investigation state where they will try to immediately look in the direction they were hit from.
Smash Robot has been buffed to be slightly faster in its movement and attacks and has increased vision range.
Turrets now have motion prediction to more accurately shoot at the player.

The run up to the release and the time after have been really exciting for us as we hope you have been (or will) enjoying the game. We have of course also been playing the game and have been tinkering and tweaking it ever since. That is why today we want to announce the first update to the game to address some issues and improve the game further. Should you run into any issues or have feedback, be sure to let us know! Updates 1.001:

Added version number to main menu page and home page.
Disabled controller input when Steam overlay is active.
Option menu items can now be unfocused by pressing B when playing with controller.
Controls-, Options-, Credits- and Level Select screens now exit/cancel when pressing ESC or the B button on controller.
Added destruction particles and sound effects for debris and protective energy shields.
The right trigger on controller can now be used for primary actions (shoot-, laser- & magnet ability) in addition to pressing the A button.
The left trigger on controller can now be used for secondary actions (long distance magnet ability) in addition to pressing the X button.
Proximity mine now has damage range indicator.
Fixed issue where a turret in level 3 of the first sector could not rotate correctly and wasn’t able to hit Proto at all angles.
Reduced Proto’s recovery time after using the Ground-Pound ability from 1.5 to 0.9 seconds.
Added dialog to level 2 of sector 3 to explain that Proto’s Ground-Pound ability can also break certain objects and can stun enemies for a short period of time.
The title screen now prompts to “Press any button to start” when a controller is connected, instead of “Press any key to start”
“Cannot transform” sound effect volume balanced.
Fixed “ammo depleted” sound effect not playing.
Fixed proximity mine explosion sound not playing.
