OTHER ASSORTED NEWS
First of all, Combo Breaker happened last weekend and it was glorious. Not spoiling any results here, but I highly recommend giving the top 4 stream a watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ku1qwPOHT8Q This has been the largest in person Blaze tournament thus far, hitting maximum capacity of 64 signups.
Then the current ranked season will end June 3 next week, starting season 17.
The following weekend, Blaze is back at Hessen Crash in Germany - where you will also be able to play an early demo of our next game. View game page
Of course later this summer the first ever super major tournament for Blaze is happening in the UK:

And I just dug up some dates for Heat Wave 9 in Arizona: October 23-25. Have yet to confirm Blaze being back in the lineup, but will likely let you know about that with a dedicated event announcement once they have open registrations.

The Lethal League Blaze community has been building up to the first ever dedicated live event on the last August weekend in Bristol this year.
Time: Friday Aug 28th — Sunday Aug 30th '26
Location: Watershed, 1 Canon's Rd, Bristol, UK
You can expect a main tournament spanning multiple days, including round robin pools and redemption bracket to ensure every participant gets lots of matches.
But also several side events, top players from across the globe, trophies, casual setups, merch and of course a live stream to follow online.
Sign up at start.gg/tournament/mach-2, learn more about event details, travel, accomodation at mach.hyhy.gg and talk with other attendees on the mach 2 discord.
If you want to secure your spot and get access to all 3 event days, an early bird ticket is £70 (first month after tickets go live), standard £80 and last call £100 (month before the event). But there are also cheaper 1 and 2 day passes.

We got a quick round up of things happening in 2026.
Standouts are a charity online tournament next month, the 17th ranked season start plus two locals in the summer and the games first local supermajor at the end of the year:

Charity LLBTQ+ Tournament of Visibility, March 8, Online, LLB Stadium
Combo Breaker, weekend from May 22, Schaumburg, Illinois
Ranked Season 17, June 3, Online, Steam
Hessen Crash, weekend from June 5, Bad Homburg, Hessen
Mach 2, ~~an October/November weekend, London~~ weekend from August 28, Bristol, England
The community is of course also hosting the new player challenges and regular online tournaments. The 63rd Room21 tournament recently had a prize pool of $604 and drew quite a lot of competition!
We will post the local events individually at a later point, but now is a good time to book things early where available.
And a little bonus nugget: I will be personally showing off a demo for our next game HYPERFUNK at Hessen Crash (which you can wishlist btw) - much like I've brought a demo of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk the first time Blaze was present at the event.
