Excellent turnout for the first post Mach 2 New Player Challenge, despite the short notice!
As a reward you get a whopping two weeks notice this time around.
But also: A short live footage recap from Mach 2. For just 5 minutes of your time, you can get an impression of what it was like to be there as well as a few interview snippets from competitors.

Now if that got you hyped for a live event and you happen to be around Arizona at the end of October, Heat Wave 9 is coming up: https://steamcommunity.com/games/553310/announcements/detail/681885122980479005
But you can also work up to that with the next New Player Challenge on Saturday, October 3.
This tournament is a great way to dip your toes into playing competitively. It is only open to players with less than 200 hours in game. And the winner gets a DLC skin of their choice.
IMPORTANT:
Don't forget to read the full description and the explanation about submitting your hours. Failing to do so will disqualify your entry.
