I'm still looking for testers, so if you have a group of friends and want to get an early peek, get in touch and let me know. I'd be happy to share some game codes (and of course DLC codes) to get people on board.
I want to emphasize again that HIPS was always intended to be played with friends and family in the same room. However, I understand that isn't always possible, so I hope this add-on works as a compromise.

Some caveats:
This is only for Steam (Windows/Mac/Linux) versions of the game. Xbox and Switch remain 4 player.
Controllers are still required for each player.
I am a solo dev, and it's nearly impossible for me to test every configuration and brand of controllers. However, this has been tested on a variety of controllers by myself and others, so I hope it works well for you (Xbox, Xbox 360, PS4, generic Direct Input, etc have been tested).
Generic controllers might not work in Xbox 360 mode. Try switching them to DirectInput mode (usually by holding down a button or some combination of buttons).
The original game is available on a beta branch called "xna-original". If you have problems, you can always revert back to this version (though, of course, it's only four players).

Ninja Party has been updated!
I never like the "Touch all the Five Statues" win condition on Ninja Party. The game always ended suddenly with a lot of question marks. I have modified the rules of Ninja Party. The original Ninja Party has been renamed "Ninja Party Classic". Let me know what you think!
