Very small set of fixes, but needed to address a couple things brought to light over the past few days. Changes Allowed greater freedom when moving fishing rod. Changed automatic save-file selection to be based on most recent data-write instead of creation time. Fixes Sun-compass
Welcome to the 60th update since launch. Small set of fixes. Nothing dramatic as I'd prefer not to introduce sweeping changes during major Steam events. Fixes: Fixed inverted normal on corsair xebec starboard mast braces. Fixed brace controls continuing perpetually if interaction
This small update brings a number of fixes to the crew system and weather. I've learned to avoid publishing major changes immediately before or during large events/sales. (Autumn Sale begins tomorrow.) As I tend to break things when that happens, which aint the best for first imp
Fixes: Fixed issue where distant geometry would be visible through trees on starting island. Significantly improved the accuracy of island sizes on the map - preventing ship positioning overlapping islands in map view. Improved accuracy of the quadrant. Significantly improved cas
Small list of changes here - I'm not very good at animation or character stuff in general so getting the crew working is taking considerable time. Fixes: Fixed missing stone collision on Bathis Isle. Changes: Improved 'keel' effectiveness on Caelean junk to be somewhat less rolly
Fixes: Fixed issue that would prevent spawning of Saettia. Fixed load order issue that could cause numerous issues when attempting to sail a ship that had just been loaded in through the shipyard. Fixed invisible cleats on Bathis Isle. Fixed several geometry and shader issues on
Fixes: Fixed weird hovering second mainmast on lateen Xebec. Fixed, or at least substantially reduced, jitter when piloting rowboats. Improved longline troller's ability to maintain course. Fixed numerous issues that could cause errors during scene transition. Significantly impro
Hello Steam Users! I know it's been a while since the last update. Doing my best to get an update together - hoping for next weekend. Main blocker is the crew system, as there's a lot of little parts to it that need to be functional for anything to work. That said, a first iterat
Sorry about that.
Thank you all for your patience. There's a number of fixes in this update that will hopefully improve the experience. Fixes: Fixed pass time controller text not immediately updating upon instantiation. Finished full migration to 'new' input system within unity. This should not be
I swear, on the good days it's an ouroboros, on the bad days it's a Sisyphean circle. Most days I can't tell the difference. I'm hopeful that this update keeps the Linux performance improvements intact, while also resolving the very unstable ropes and joints introduced in the las
Fixed loading screen prompts often being cut-off on some resolutions. The main target of this update is Linux performance. Given the wide variety of Linux setups, and my limited testing access, I can't guarantee these fixes will work for everyone -- would much appreciate feedback
It's come to my attention that many users on Linux devices, including the Steam deck, are experiencing inconsistent, and often severely degraded performance since the update to Unity 6.3. I am actively working to resolve this as soon as possible. My apologies to those effected. P
This small update fixes a number of issues, some old, some new. I'm continuing to work through reported issues and fix things as quickly as I can. Joys of having a day job, I don't have as much time as I'd like. I thank you for your patience. As a note particularly for those read
One more for the day. This small update should resolve a number of major performance issues -- particularly on Linux devices. Mouse movement/camera control should be back to smooth operation. Stairs on the Dhow are now less sticky.
I am working on a more substantial set of fixes - but want to clear out the progress blockers. This fix addresses issues some players are experiencing where the Player consistently loads into the starting beach instead of their ship. No issues with your saves, this should solve t
Added a couple of small script efficiency updates. I'm getting reports that some users are seeing much worse performance with the update to DX12 being default instead of DX11. You can circumvent most of these issues by adding the following text to the Launch Options. Access this
Very small hotfix while I address larger bugs. Fixed player losing directional momentum when jumping while aboard ships. Fixed inability to set shadows to 'low'.
Major Update Apologies for the long wait between updates -- especially with several significant bugs impacting the experience. I'm currently under a state-of-emergency due to flooding -- and we've been getting a lot of weather and power-outages. Fixes Ropes are now more resistant
Small hotfix to address substantial jitter encountered in some circumstances, particularly on the Saettia. Replaced strange Epitaph model on the Bell's with one more unique. Simplified static Saettia at the Bells to reduce draw calls.
