Developer posts and news about this game.
I'm closing out the custom skin roster for the cars. There's just one left now. Here's one of them from the new update: "Tangy" All Changes made Lancier Skidpad a two-lap track and improved its layout to allow driving both clockwise or counterclockwise added camera rotation with
In addition to automatically saving your best time, I just added a feature to let you save a clip of the current race, either from the pause menu or from the post-race summary screen. Your personal bests are still synced across devices, but any other manually-generated clips are
This update adds automatic saving of campaign ghosts and times to the Steam cloud alongside your preferences. It’s bidirectional, meaning you can hand off between devices and it’ll sync your best time across both of them. This happens automatically when you record a new time, but
I had somehow forgotten to make Docks Halfpipe a multilap track. It was the last remaining hotlap track, and is now finally a 3-lap track with a slightly more forgiving author time. Some of the new skins: "Vapor Shark" "Looker" "Fangline" "Technical" "Needlefish" This update has
Added more skins for both cars based on requests and my own backlog. I may tie some of them to new achievements for the 1.0 release but for now, get 'em! Here are a few of them: "Falcon" "Northstar" "Sluggy" All Changes added a new Exo-V2 skin, Jazzy added a new Exo-V2 skin, Falc
There are six new skins in the game aside from the default Prototype variants for both the Exo-V2 and the Lancier. They're either homages to real-world iconic racing liveries, community suggestions, or just things I find interesting to put on a car. Here are a couple of them, I'l
changed the postrace “Rate track” button to “Reload track” added lights in the windows to some buildings in Vapor City at night optimized and updated Cherry Ring to be more interesting (required a leaderboard wipe) updated lighting and grandstand models in Desert Speedway updated
fixed a bug with Lake Tangle 2 being incorrectly registered as medal exempt updated/expanded background terrain in Desert Speedway added a new tow charm, Rubik's Cube added a new tow charm, Ace added a new tow charm, Queen modified specular highlight color in some shaders to dark
This update comes out sooner than I'd like because I forgot to change one line around car customization that was crashing the game when a replay was viewed. It also comes with a rebuild of Ramp Twist with a cool reverse start. After this, the only track I'll probably rebuild for
This update brings a completely new customization menu as I prep for adding more cosmetics before release. You can now equip different tires and tow hook charms for both cars, and the menus are more readable, better navigable, and way cooler. Here are some example screenshots. Th
I remade a couple very old tracks and added several new features by popular request. redesigned/rebuilt Turbine Climb redesigned/rebuilt Rock Loop I added a new wheel and achievement, Amphibious added a separate Camera tab to the game settings menu and moved related items into it
allow respawning via the hotkey anytime after finishing fixed a visual bug where input prompts would overlap each other in the camera controls bar if they were two keys mapped to an axis added an end cap mesh to some orange/magnetic track sections in the campaign so they wouldn’t
All 64 tracks are finished now. It’s a bit surreal. I still need to go back and rework a few of them to be up to the standards of the newer tracks (looking at you, Rock Loop and Puddlejumper...) but I wanted to hit this milestone of completing every single track before going back
This update brings new leaderboard visuals, a small drift nitro gain change and rounds out the last of the Stage 1 tracks with two more somewhat interesting multilap ones. The Lancier gets its first and perhaps only track where it can drift on dirt instead of grass, which gives i
Fixed a rather egregious bug that made the docks area disappear. That would have made Autocross I a bit difficult. It also made me release two easyish tracks I'd been working on early, since I only noticed the issue after I'd already bundled them into the game and figured I might
This update brings the last track of Stage 3 - the aptly named Third Inversion. I may make some more tweaks to existing stage 3 tracks leading up to launch, but for the first time, a complete stage of 16 tracks is in NEODRIVE. Double Loop has also been converted to a multilap tra
This update's first new track, Mobius Trip, was a suggestion by a community member, CurtDog420. It's the first track that takes place at night in Vapor City (night lighting still WIP). The second track, Alley Scramble, is rather difficult and takes place in Vapor City during a bl
This update contains a big fix for magnetic tracks. My original physics alterations for the car on magnet tracks were working in all cases except one, where the track twisted on its axis (like going from right side up to upside down) without pitching or bending in any other way.
show more time info when getting a new record (time below your previous time) fixed a bug where you could build a full boost meter from the start line in an automatic transmission fixed bad gold override time on Lake Tangle III
- Added TCS on keyboard for Lancier, but decreased nitro gain when using keyboard and at grip limit - Updated LODs for cherry blossom trees
