Hi! I just updated Raven's Carnage adressing bugs:
- Save Slot not showing progress if you didn't completed the first Main Quest;
- Textboxes bugging out of the screen;
I'll adress a bug with the exit door not saving the game in another update later today.
NOTE: While working in these problems, I've noticed that I actually lost all of my progress, I don't know exactly what happening during that. I really hope this doesn't happen anynmore.
NOTE 2: if you complete Atomic Evil main quest, you'll notice that Agartha Mountains is already available on the Mission Selector. That's not a bug. But Agartha Mountains isn't playable right now, so instead it's gonna redirect you to Atomic Evil!
❄️ Next Map: Agartha Mountains Hey everyone! Now that Atomic Evil is here already, I wanted to share a little bit about the next map I'm working on for Raven's Carnage: Agartha Mountains . I don't want to reveal too much yet, especially because this will be a very important map f
Hey everyone!
Now that Atomic Evil is here already, I wanted to share a little bit about the next map I'm working on for Raven's Carnage: Agartha Mountains.
I don't want to reveal too much yet, especially because this will be a very important map for the game's story.
Agartha Mountains will be a huge frozen region, with snow-covered mountains and a large network of grottos, caves, and frozen mines. You'll be able to explore minecart tracks, find frozen ores, and, of course, uncover plenty of secrets hidden throughout the mountains.
This is also where Raven will find the Ice Katalysator. 🧊
My goal is to make Agartha Mountains the biggest Raven's Carnage map so far, both in size and importance. A major part of the story will unfold here, so if you enjoy looking for clues and figuring out what's really going on in the game's universe, there will be a lot to discover.
There's no release date yet. I'm planning to release the map sometime in the next few months, possibly around Christmas, since it fits really well with the whole snow and ice atmosphere. ❄️🎄
That's about all I can share for now without spoiling too much.
See you in the mountains!

Hi! I'm working on the smallest of the details of this new Raven's Carnage update to make sure that everything will be perfect!
I'm just organizing some tunes and adressing some problems I've found over the week.
Everything will be ready on Friday! So you can expect 2.0.0.0 to drop on September 4th.
I'm really happy with the stage Raven's Carnage is currently on, and I'm excited to show you all what I have prepared all of this months!
Again, I apoligize for being so late at this point. But now I can say I'm working at full speed, and you will start to receive more frequent updates again (not in the same frequeny as before, but I can assure you all that I won't take months to develop one giant update!)
That being said, I hope you doing well, and see ya on Friday! 😊

Hi! This is just a small note to announce that after almost 1 year (and I'm really sorry for that), Raven's Carnage is receiving the Atomic Evil update, along with a CHUNK of other things that I've changed/made.
I can't give a day specificaly, I'm still testing everything to make sure I don't mess up anything. But it will come this week. Can be tomorrow or next friday, we'll see!
With that being said, thank you so much for the support! :D
We are almost there!

Hi everyone!
The next major update is just around the corner, and today I'd like to introduce the star of the show:

Deep beneath the surface lies an abandoned sewer system... where an improvised Nuclear Station hides a dangerous secret. Your mission? Help Dr. Ashford develop a nuclear formula capable of creating the Acid Katalysator. ⚗️☢️
Atomic Evil is slightly larger than Hideout 116. While it's still considered a small map, don't underestimate it...
🔥 It features the longest Katalysator quest in the game so far!
Expect a challenging adventure full of puzzles, exploration, and dangerous encounters before claiming its incredible power.
After restoring the power, you'll be able to activate Acid Traps around the map.
☣️ Corrosive acid erupts from the ground, damaging every monster caught in its path.
Perfect for clearing large groups of enemies!
Life somehow found its way into the radioactive sewers...
Water special plants, let them grow, and harvest valuable rewards!
Possible rewards include:
🔫 Weapons
⭐ Power-ups
💚 Free Perks
Every bullet now packs an extra punch.
⚡ Each shot releases an energy pulse that damages nearby enemies.
Better yet...
📈 The more copies of X-Pulse Soda you buy, the stronger the pulse becomes!
Meet the eXpelis, an experimental atomic-powered ventilator.
💨 Instead of simply dealing damage, it repels enemy projectiles, making it incredibly useful inside Atomic Evil's narrow corridors.
Considering the map is filled with radioactive enemies that unleash massive amounts of toxic projectiles... you'll definitely want one in your hands.
This is only a preview of what's coming in the next update. There are still plenty of surprises waiting to be revealed! Thank you all for your continued support!
☢️ Atomic Evil is coming very soon... Stay tuned!

Hi everyone!
After a long time without posting anything, I'm here to say that the next Raven's Carnage update is closer than ever. I'm still hard at work on it, so without taking too much of your time, here's everything I'm working on right now:
Brand-new Main Menu. Raven's Carnage is finally getting the definitive Main Menu it deserves. I still need to create a proper background artwork (I'm using AI as a placeholder right now, and I'm not very proud of it).
Save Slots. You'll be able to have three different save files. If you ever get bored with your current run, you can simply start a new game without deleting your existing progress.
New Hub Layout. I'm never completely satisfied with how the Main Hub feels, so I'm trying to make it the best it can be.
Minor UI improvements.
Perk Machine jingles are being removed. I'm replacing them with a dynamic ambient soundtrack. I think this makes the game feel more "arcade" while also being more immersive. You'll hear calmer music when things are quiet, and more intense music once the screen starts filling up with monsters. Overall, I think this works much better than having only ambient sounds mixed with the Perk Machine jingles.
I think that's everything for now! I'll keep posting updates on the game's page as development continues.
I'm aiming to release this update next month, so stay tuned!

Hi! It's been a long time since I don't release any updates and I'm really sorry for that. But today I come with great news!
Firstly, I'm back to work more on Raven's Carnage, and this means that there is much more content to come in the next few weeks.
Secondly, I've changed the way the updates will work here. I'm being more productive by just creating giant chunks of content without publishing it, than I would be if I was doing weekly updates. The downside is that you'll have to wait more until I can show every little thing I'm working on.
But this doesn't stop me from telling you: What's Coming Next?
Here's a small list about the most important ones:
-> Brand New Intro Cutscene
-> All maps are receiving updates. Visual updates, more quests.
-> Hub upgrades, menu upgrades.
-> Brand New type of enemies: Minibosses
-> Extract is now much easier.
-> Kill Combo Counter.
-> Special Rounds.
-> Movements balancement.
-> Much More artifacts
Here I'm just scratching the surface! You'll be able to learn more about this giant update coming in the next few weeks!
Stay tuned! Thanks for the support.

Hi, Raven's Carnage fans!
In the past week, Raven's Carnage hasn’t received any updates, and I’m here to apologize for that, as well as to give you a quick report on how the game’s development is going.
First of all, I’m really sorry, but I’ll have to slow down the update frequency for now. There are a lot of things happening outside of development, and although I truly enjoy working on this game, I also feel it’s time for me to take a short break. Life hasn’t been very easy lately, and I’ve been struggling to deal with some personal things. I feel like I need to slow down a bit and focus on other aspects of life—like spending more time with my family.
It’s been more than two years since I started building Raven’s Carnage from the ground up, and I’m really proud of what it’s becoming. I truly hope to see it finished one day (and it will be). Developing this game has often been an escape for me, so it’s something deeply personal.
I’m not pausing development—updates will still come—but for now, the pace will be considerably slower. Stay tuned, because there are still great things on the way.
I’d like to thank Syagrius—your support and precise feedback have been incredibly important, and I truly feel they’re helping the game grow in the right direction. I really appreciate it, and I’m working to fix all the current issues in the game.
That being said, I’m really happy with how Raven’s Carnage is evolving, and I hope it becomes a great game one day. You guys rock! We’ll be back to our usual update rhythm soon.
Thank you!

It’s Halloween time!
With this update, 4 classic monsters will appear wearing Halloween costumes!
🎃 This will happen every Halloween, returning each year for some scary fun.
The Forge got a new weapon selection system:
It now avoids giving you guns you already own (not 100% perfect, but almost!).
Weapon rolls are now more random and diverse, making crafting less predictable.
Minor graphic improvements were made to Echoes of Midnight, especially around the Shack. These changes enhance immersion and the eerie visuals of the map.
The Bat Perk (Vampyr’s Wine) now costs $350 — and this is a permanent change! This perk was often “forsaken” by players, but now it’s a much more interesting and affordable option.
You can now quit the game from the pause menu even while being a ghost.
Exiting through the Hub’s Exit Door will now automatically save your game.
🎃 Happy Halloween, survivors!
Get ready for costumed monsters, chaotic forging, and nights full of spooky surprises! 👀

Update 1.10.5.0 is here, bringing visual improvements and major upgrades to The Forge!
The Forsaken map has received several visual improvements, making it feel like a true ancient castle — darker, more detailed, and atmospheric.
Explore eerie halls and feel the weight of the cursed fortress like never before.
The Forge has been upgraded to offer more freedom and cross-map progression:
It can now create weapons you’ve unlocked on any map.
You’ll have access to all unlocked weapons, plus map-exclusive ones.
Every secret weapon you unlock will be instantly available in The Forge, across all maps (including the Hub).
🔥 The Forge is now the true core of your weapon progression — giving you full control over your arsenal anywhere you play.

-> Mark Machine updates 🔫:
Now has a brand new cool visual effect when purchased.
After Level 3 upgrades, it no longer increases weapon ammo.

More upgrades and effects will be added in future updates! 🔮

The 1.10.2.0 update is arriving later today, and here’s everything you need to know 👇
To make things feel fairer, 1.10.2.0 introduces one of the most requested features: Perk Permanency.
Here’s how it works:
When you die, you will now only lose 1 level of each perk you own. → Example: if you died with a perk at Level 2, when you revive, you’ll have a weaker version of the same perk (but it will still be there!).
If the perk was at Level 1, you’ll lose it entirely upon revival.
After 5 deaths, you’ll start losing 2 levels instead of 1. → This number will increase again after 10, 15, and 20 deaths.
This “Perk Permanency” feature may change in future updates — right now, it’s in a test phase.
A brand-new machine is joining your arsenal: The Armor Machine.
The Armor Machine provides Armor, allowing you to take more damage before going down.
It has 3 armors in stock, and it will refill after the next round once you buy all 3 available armors.
You can equip a maximum of 3 armors, totaling 12 hits absorbed when fully armored.
The Healup perk (which increases invincibility time) will not work when the armor absorbs damage.
⏳ Immunity time between hits:
With 3 armors equipped: 2 seconds.
With 2 armors equipped: 1 second.
With 1 armor equipped: 0.5 seconds.
⚠️ These changes make the game more strategic and reward players who plan their survivability in longer rounds.

New Features:
-> Brand new map Echoes of Midnight: Explore a abandoned shack in the middle of a forest.
-> Brand new Katalysator Weapon: The Shadow Katalysator.
-> Brand New Perk: Spectral Shield 3.0: Create 4 espectral shields around Raven, these shields can absorve enemy projectiles. Spectral Shields will become more resistant against projectiles the more you buy it.
-> 6 Brand new Special Weapons:
Zap Gun: A laser pistol, it looks like a toy, it deals a good damage and can be dig with a shovel in the forest or found in The Forge.
Zap Gun 2.0: An upgrade for sure, it's a assalt rifle version of the first Zap Gun, it can be crafted by finding all of it's 3 parts.
AKS-Neutral: A Strange machine created and signed by Simon, it converts energy into a powerfull eletric ball, it can be charged to cause more damage.
AKS-Gravitas: An upgrade to the AKS-Neutral. This upgrade is equiped with a lunar element, that can put demons in a anti-gravity state, meaning you can walk right below them without getting attacked, just be careful, they can still shoot you! You can also charge it to cause an explosion, causing all monsters nearby to float above your head.
AKS-Orbit: An alternate upgrade to the AKS-Neutral. This one is capable of creating projectiles that will orbit it's targets, it can also be charged to create 2 projectiles, both with 2x damage.
Axe: an Red Metal Axe, buried in the forest, Raven can rotate the axe in a 360 angle, hitting every monster nearby.
-> Brand new Boss Fight: I will keep this one as a secret, if you want to peek a little just look on the Raven's Carnage official page on Steam.
-> Overall game sound improved.
-> Minimal Bugs fixed.
-> Forsaken Updates:
The Spectral Staff Upgrade is now much easier to obtain if you have completed it's quest once before.
Forsaken Soundtrack Improved.
Minimal visual details improved.
That's it for now! Go and try to solve the Main Quest of Echoes of Midnight and grab that juicy Shadow Katalysator for Dr. Ashford.
In the next few weeks I will be working on a (probably) Halloween themed upgrade. As well as New Easter Eggs on this brand new map.
You can also be aware that the next map and the Chapter 4 of Raven's Carnage: Atomic Evil, is already being worked on, and you can expect to play it by next month.

After so much hard work, it's finally here. Explore a abandoned hut localized in the middle of a forest, use all of your arsenal, as well as pre-installed traps, 5 Secret New Guns and a brand new Melee Weapon to send those demons right where they belong.
Echoes of Midnight is the biggest map I've made so far, and it's full of secrets.
This new update will drop tomorrow, and you can also expect lots of patches and small new features to come by the next week.
Stay tuned!

Hi! I hope you are all ok! I'm currently finishing Echoes of Midnight, but it will be very hard for me to release this map this week. The Main Quest is already completed, an amazing and epic Boss Fight, new weapons, side quests and much more. But I still need a little more time to assure this map will be completely special and different. I'm also working on new achievements and new artifacts exclusive to this map. So stay tuned! I really hope I can finally release this map by next week.

Midnight Echoes is coming in the next few weeks!
Here's everything you need to know about this brand new map:
-> It'll feature an "already seen" perk machine: the purple Exp Machine, but with some cool changes. Because this time around we don't have levels or exp no more, so you can expect a brand new powerup upgrade!
-> This map will feature 3 different sections: A giant and dense forest, a small hut full of Simon's random inventions and... (I can't tell the last one. All I can tell is that this one will be available only while doing the Main Quest. Let's just say that this map is all about getting the Shadow Katalysator, which power comes from moon crystals, so yeah, you can expect something crazy coming.
-> It'll also feature a brand new enemy type: The Shadow Demon. This purple-eyed creature is capable of shooting shadow orbs, that can orbitate around Raven and cause damage if he gets hit. It's just like a normal monster bullet, but these ones will actually follow you around... The secret is to kill them before they shoot.
-> This map will also feature the first "Raven outfit". Yes, you will be able to change your outfit, and based on your outfit you'll be able to do more stuff, that I also still can't tell much here yet.
There's much. MUCH more to come! Stay tuned. This map will be in the next big update for Raven's Carnage, coming in a few weeks!
