Hi everyone!
This is a quick update with the current development status of the Civilizations update.
The bottom menu size and content has been reduced, so it doesn't take too much screen space and it shows mostly resources and current global status of the city.
On the other hand, the demography menu now contains the temperature tolerance bar. However, I'm thinking on doing changes here so there won't be a global temperature tolerance, but... it will work per tile. So, you can have some areas of the city that are OK, but other areas are freezing. This will open new survival strategies such as allocating some space for buildings that will warm/cool the area.
Of course, this means a new menu ("habitability menu" maybe?) should be added.

Also, the resources menus got improvements showing now all sources that increase or consume each specific resource:

Buildings menu has been totally reworked again. Now, I think is much more intuitive and easy to use.
You will have a list of buildings that you can create on the left menu. Also a demolish button.
Once you select a building type, you just place the new building in the highlighted green areas. Always next to existing city extensions.
Also, buildings have a building cost, maintenance cost (be careful spamming buildings without a plan!), and requirements: lumber camp requires a tile with wood resources.

Military menu keeps pretty similar, but now custom vehicle slots will be blocked until you find the right technology.

Also, new religion/politics menu. A bit more simple but easier to use than the previous prototype. You will be able to choose between 5 cards and combine them to create the rules of the civilization. Here, you can use and mix politics and religion type cards. Each card can have benefits but also disadvantages. You choose what kind of civilization you will build. These cards and more will be unlocked when you investigate more technologies/discoveries.
Disclaimer: The cards in the following screenshot are just mock-ups!

On the other hand, now that everything started to look more mature, I started adding all content of the update! Starting from technologies...
You can try to guess what is each one :-)
But maybe some of them I have to change or replace by other stuff.

...and following by buildings and their 3D models!

And that's everything for now!
It's getting too long, but as you can see there is a lot of new and totally different content coming with Civilizations. It's like building a new game inside the current game.
I want to finish this update just as much as you want to play it!
Also, because it's blocking me from continue working on existing stuff such as creatures, plants, etc...
I'm a solo developer, so it's hard and also quite frustrating getting blocked with the ideas and prototypes and needed to rework stuff constantly because I was not fully happy.
But we are getting there, and I think this time I'm going into the right direction and getting closer to the end!
See you soon!
