New content and changes

The Mulholland Rentals parking lot is now available as level for the Hit & Run game mode.
There are two new killer cars you'll encounter in New Game Plus and the Hit & Run game mode.
An option to invert Y axis and some other minor improvements were added.

This is a minor update to fix some issues and simplify the story. Make the story a bit simpler and clearer. Reduce the volume of music played by cars. Fix bug related to volume resetting at level start. Fix a couple of small bugs.

It's run or die in a killer car infested city. Dash from dumpster to park bench and don’t make a wrong move. Ice cream trucks, snowplows and dodgy vans all want you dead. Decimate Drive, a short indie game, is terrifyingly fast-paced and drenched in atmospheric horror.

Quick demo update
A small update was just released for the demo to reduce the difficulty a little. Things like slightly faster player movement, cars are slower to recover after crashing etc. If you tried the demo, but thought the difficulty was a bit much, then definitely give it another shot! If

New demo available
Get an idea of what Decimate Drive is all about by trying out the new demo. It contains gameplay and a bit of story. The biggest additions since the last playtest update (more on that below) are the new game plus mode and collectibles.
End of playtest
The release of the demo also marks the end of the ongoing playtest (on Steam). Thanks again to those who joined the playtest and gave their feedback. It helped me greatly in figuring out what to work on. To give you an idea what changed since the start of the playtest:

Balancing and a difficulty option
Improved lighting and a gamma slider
Smoother movement and a look-back-feature
Lots of bug fixes
Even if you joined the playtest you can still find plenty of new stuff in the demo. So be sure to check it out!
On to Early Access
The release of the demo is a small detour along the road to an Early Access release. Since Decimate Drive is a game I work on in my spare time, it’s difficult to give an exact release date. I’m aiming for the beginning of 2024 at the moment. Time will tell!
