This was going to be released as the Google Play release but I had to shelve it and just update over on itch.io and here on Steam. This was sitting on beta testing for some time and no real issues showed up. Added more achievements. Added Tokebi SDK for gameplay tracking. Updated
I'm officially announcing that 1.6.0 will release on Android! I don't have a launch date yet, as Google has new requirements for new apps on Google Play, so we're looking for beta testers to help us meet those. Sign-up with your email here. The ideal launch date is November 11th,
Hey, small update for you all today in preparation for an Android release. Changes in 1.5.4: Fixed positioning of copyright text. Prepared first Android release. Thanks for continuing to enjoy Kitsu's Destiny. P.S: I also just re-enabled Steam Cloud. You're welcome. -Nexxus
I've just updated the Demo Version to 1.2 to fix some instability and possible bugs. There is no real changelog, as the instability and bugs are considered minor fixes. It still mostly mirrors the full game's Version 1.5.3. The changes are all behind-the-scenes and don't affect t
Hey, Nexxus here with a new version update. Have a changelog: Updated demo to the latest version with a new ending cutscene. Changed the splash screen to the new company name. Cut out all unneccesary extra files as development is basically complete and only balance and bugfix cha
Fix: Game crashes on new or otherwise non-NG+ saves when talking to old man. I have no idea how it passed QA, my beta testers have since been lectured. Thanks to Silent Flame Spirit for the bug report via Steam review.
Version 1.5.1 of Kitsu's Destiny has been released ahead of the RPG Maker Festival. I've also re-enabled Steam Cloud, and suggest deleting or overwriting any saves which break. Changes: Bump RMMZ corescript to v1.10.0 Disable leftover debug mode Under-the-hood debugging changes T
I finally found the time to remake V1.4.1 and update the game! After the release of v1.4.0 under the MPL, I figured that code was actually broken and unreleased in-progress v1.4.1 code. I've taken that code and I am working on a "Definitive Update" now I'm finally in a much bette
I'm excited to announce the open source release of Kitsu’s Destiny v1.4.0 under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 ! This version is not the current release build, but it provides a solid foundation for modders, developers, and curious minds to build upon. All third-party assets—such
The soundtrack for Kitsu's Destiny has released for US$2.99. It features music made by Extrasolar Detonation, aka, Kitsu's Destiny developer Pyra Drake. It features nine tracks used in the game in rough chronological order.
As the game codebase has been lost, I issue the final corrections to the credits, as well as the distribution of information regarding the "True Ending". Corrections to Credits Lead Developer and Designer is Pyra Drake (aka Nexxus Drako). All mentions of ZeroDei are intended to b
I will no longer be updating the game in any fashion as I've lost the code to the game in a major incident of data loss. Furthermore, I'm currently having legal issues which I cannot talk about under advice of my lawyer, but which may seriously impact my future ability to make up
This patch once again breaks old saves, for the last time, hopefully. - Added Achievement Reinitializer to the Debug Piano right of the Dark Lady on New Game+ - Added effects to all attacks where missing. - Changed the font to Junction, an open source font. - No more RPG Maker de
We are excited to announce the release of Version 1.4 "Kalliope" for Kitsu’s Destiny! This update brings a host of new features, improvements, and fixes to the game. First and foremost, we have removed the accidental debug menu that was causing some confusion for players. We apol
My name is Celeste and this is Kitsu's Destiny. This game development all started when I decided to create an RPG Maker game like Cookie Clicker in 2015. At the time, I had no idea that this game would turn out to be so special. Since its release, this RPG Maker game has taken of
I forgot to remove the debug menu. Also, 1.4 will be in beta testing soon. Seriously... I genuinely forgot to remove ONE damn thing. It's only 3.5 KB thankfully.
Doubled the damage of Judgement, I made it way too weak. Added a bloodline bonus of 2% for every kill to EXP and Gold gains. Nerfed confusion to drop your attack to 25% of normal so you can't OHKO yourself. Credits adjustments and updates. Major changes to True Ending. Some achie
Update: Release Candidate 2 is out, this time with Achievements. They also work this time, and you can actually see them, you couldn't before because I accidentally 10 variables. All achievements will need new saves, but please don't get too upset, as I'll have to add new achieve
I've come to the decision that I will be discontinuing the Dark Lady 18+ Pinup Pack DLC on April 30th. This is mainly so the entire Deluxe Edition can be bought without needing to disable the explicit content filter and the entire game as available sans that DLC, which adds zero
Now the (admittedly self-created) drama from January has passed, I have changed the game's price to what I believe it to be once I've completed balancing, testing, and whatever new features. I apologise for the radio silence, I've been having an absolute nightmare of a time offli
