Hi everyone!
I understand development has been somewhat sporadic these past few weeks, with certain updates not always working for everyone and there still being some existing bugs. My goal this week is to try and patch up those last few remaining hiccups for those in the minority still experiencing them, and get the game functioning for everyone. This Early Access phase has helped a lot, and I think the game is a lot more stable and enjoyable than it was on Early Access release.
So, what exactly does this mean with an official release?
An official release means that Operator will be going from free Early Access to including a small fee of $0.99 USD for the base game. If you got the game in Early Access, as a thank you for providing testing and feedback you will be able to keep the game in your library for free. :)
It's still pretty buggy. Aren't other people experiencing this?
Yes, however this is a minority of cases we have seen with the most recent updates. This week I am hard at work getting the last of these bugs fixed so that almost everyone can properly experience and enjoy the game.
I really enjoyed the game with friends, but I'm wishing for more content. Can I find it anywhere?
Yes! Operator will have an additional map, "Northridge Park" available for purchase and immediately playable with the official release. In addition, there is also a Patreon where in-game accessories and bonuses will be as the game goes through further development. If you'd like to support me there to help with development, go check it out!
Thanks and hope to see you guys this weekend!
