Many of these changes have been inspired by our Community, and are aimed at spicing up a little some Shards while also giving a much needed balance pass to some of the bosses to finesse the experience for both old and new players!

Damage per tick: 7 -> 10;
Speed increase buff: 25% -> 35%;
Lunar Inspiration (Aryana Shard Active) -
Increased damage of all attacks by 25%;

Reduced cool-down time of special attacks by 25%
Reduced cool-down of falling rocks during final phase by 25%.
Abyssal Guardian (NG+ Guardian) -
Corruption zones size reduced by 20%
Corruption zones now spawn 35% less often.

With the Depths of the Forgotten expansion it’s possible to explore what’s behind the door in the Enchanted Forest. As the name suggests, you will be descending far below the Citadel to new and undiscovered areas using a mysterious elevator. These unexplored locations are home to some of the toughest bosses you’re yet to face. Are you up to the challenge?
The Rejected Daughter
The first of three new bosses is a monstrous outcome of mixing human and godly genes into a single being. The Rejected Daughter was Eksyll’s failed hope of a worthy heir. Instead of putting the creature out of her misery, Eksyl decided to keep her locked away, deep within the depths, and the years have not been kind…
Zylad, Lord of Steel
Zylad, Lord of Steel, is a result of his battle-strewn past. Zylad was always a fierce adversary, but thanks to Eksyll’s enhancements, soon gained powers akin to Godhood. Leading the legions that invaded the Citadel, Zylad’s newfound strength caused him to act above his station, eventually leading to his discharge and imprisonment within the Depths.
The Rotten Crown
The corpulent King Otto swore he would not perish alongside his crumbling Kingdom, and sacrificed a great deal to a winged saviour for the gift of eternal salvation. Unfortunately for His Majesty, the supposed Saviour didn't feel like parting ways with his new Royal play-thing and instead locked him away for his own twisted amusement.
New weapons unlocks
Working your way through these areas you’ll find a selection of brand new, unlockable weapons that provide significant buffs and debuffs. For example, ‘The Executioner’ will greatly increase your damage output but it will come at the cost of reduced movement and defense. Choose wisely and unlock all four of them.
Orenai the Watcher
As you journey through the Forgotten Depths you’ll meet a mysterious creature guarding the elevator. This is Orenai the Watcher, a new NPC, and although reluctant to share information he will help you on your journey.
Empire’s Wrath
Finally, there’s a new shard which provides even more options to your already strong arsenal to take on the various bosses. We won’t spoil what you need to do to obtain this but we can guarantee it’s something you’ll need if you want to succeed!

Stand Your Ground -
Fixed a bug that could cause Stand Your Ground additional counter bar on hit to not work as intended.
Increased counter bar generation on guard hit while on Stand Your Ground
from 3% → 20%.

Tectonic Shock -
Fixed a bug that could prevent Tectonic Shock to deal the appropriate damage when player had 4 stacks of Berserk buff.
Tectonic Shock damage changed from 5 → 40 to 20 → 60.

Fixed an issue that could cause Grapple Hook to feel inconsistent / buggy when too close to a boss or walls.

Improved responsiveness and feel of grappling to enemies.
Shard - Singularity Orb (Drakmur Active Shard)
Changed how force is applied to the moving Orb. The movement speed is now incremental, should make the skill easier to use and more predictable.
Cooldown changed from 5s → 3s.
Shard - Winter Fangs (Hyem Active Shard)
Increased first hit damage from 10 → 25 and second hit damage from 100 → 125.
Cooldown changed from 8s → 6.5s

Fixed an issue that caused Eksyll to sometimes delay his special attacks for too long. (Special attacks: Tile attacks during Phase 1, Boss shards attacks during phase 2)
Fixed an issue that caused Eksyll to begin Phase 03 with ~20% less HP than intended
Fixed an issue that caused Eksyll's Phase 03 falling rocks to begin too early.
Dev note: We really don't want speed-runners to hurt their hands by spamming a button as fast as possible! Hopefully this is a good change, send feedback please!
Shards - Corrupted Grasp
Active - Damage on Hit = 25 → 20; Healing on hit = 15 → 10;
Shards - Winter Fangs
Active - Cooldown = 12s → 8s
Dev note: Grapple is fun but a bit too strong! we won't touch the Cooldown, but tuned other stats a bit down. We also want to make other active shards a bit stronger, will work towards that in the future.
Fixes and Updates
Added Speed Run Mode: Can be activated in settings and enables:
Run timer on top right corner
No death icon on top right corner
No damage icon on top right corner
Game version on bottom right corner
Fixed an issue causing NG+ modifiers (damage taken increase, healing reduced ) to not apply properly in Arena Mode+ fights.
Added a "Retry" button to quickly start a fight again after an Arena encounter is defeated.
Attempting to fix an issue where quitting the game at a specific time while Eksyll is defeated would cause the game to incorrectly not trigger the NG+ cycle.
Fixed an issue that caused Counter Bar generation to be calculated incorrectly at times.
Fixed an issue causing the NG+ message at the end of a Game Cycle to show the wrong number of HP % bonus on bosses (was too high). The value is a rough approximation as different bosses gain different %HP bonuses.
Fixed an issue with Chain Fracture localization to better describe it's effect. " ... Upon Furious expiration, cause..." → "... When Furuious is refreshed or expires, cause..."
