Pick from a preset of colours or choose colours for individual powerups. Colourblind-friendly alternative presets are included!
Accessibility for colourblind players has been a longtime concern, and it's also been a design challenge since colour is used to communicate a lot of gameplay information at high speeds. (You need to know at a glance what powerup an enemy will drop so you can decide when to collect the powerup and plan its usage, all while destroying the enemy itself.) I hope this addition gets players a step closer to playing the game without visual barriers. It's not a perfect solution yet--alternative colours from a limited palette can only replicate so much information where six distinct colours are used by default--but another option is being developed (planned for the next update) that can be used alongside colour customization for even better visibility.
Planned across the next upcoming updates: weapon revamps, significant mechanical additions and... a new game mode? Stay tuned...!

While the game is not quite ready for a full release, I'm pleased to announce that the game will be available in Early Access on May 2 2025.
The game is almost in a complete state but it requires more work for major bug fixes and polish. It is at a stage where gameplay elements are all present but are subject to change; player feedback would be extremely helpful and impactful, and new features could be added with enough interest! Please stay tuned for more information on how you can get involved in Early Access.
Early Access players can buy the game at a reduced price compared to the full version. Please note that if you want to try the game before purchasing, there is a demo that is available now and will continue to be available alongside Early Access.
Thank you all so much again for your patience and support!
Tune in to watch the developer of the game play through the first two levels, included in the demo for Steam Next Fest June 2023. Have any questions about the game? Feel free to ask in the chat.
