Online multiplayer is here which we have been working on the last few months, even though we are happy to announce this feature there's still some bugs and we release this feature on beta.

Now we have online multiplayer in Beta stage and all of you can now play it, at the moment there's only last man standing game mode and there's no options to choose bots to play with other players.

It is time to release RoboVirus. Get ready to rumble with all new menu and new game mode 'Deathmatch' and game feel changes!
The new selection lobby makes starting games easier and allows more ease at configuration.
We have released the new Deathmatch game mode where player with the most kills will earn the crown and be the victor.
This update features:

New Main menu
Deathmatch game mode
Balancing of weapons and dash
Improvements to bots
New music
New Main Menu
Redone Character selection
Change rules menu
Rules are now on their own window
You can now also decide the amount of bots you want in the game!
Level selection facelift
You can see the levels with much more detail in the level selection and choose your favourite starting level
Deathmatch game mode
Along the normal 'last man standing' game mode players can also select deathmatch game mode where the player with the most kills will win.
Balancing of weapons and dash
Tweaked multiple different weapons to feel equally balanced and the dash to feel powerful enough and be used often enough

Missile Launcher has less ammo and firerate. This is a nerf!
Mini gun has limited ammo but should not run out too faster
Dash has slightly longer duration and more stun effects
Dash has impact sound
Improvements to bots
Bots were struggling in some levels with moveable objects so the settings for their routing were enhanced.
We added rudimentary hazard avoidance for them, bots will return to playing area if for some reason outside of it and find targets better
New music
Several new tracks from the awesome collection by Deceased Superior Technician(DST)
Fast paced tracks that speed you to blast your frenemies!
Online multiplayer will not be making into the release version, but it will be implemented soon!

Piston: Only corner piston platforms drop down
Piston: When player died on a piston platform dropping down, players didn't spawn anymore
Fissure: Players died when platforms moved down
Gun and character bugs
Boulder 1: The boulder didn't blink when it could be exploded
Boulder 2: Now boulder/ "meatball" spawns where players are aiming
Laser: Went to direction where the players moved not where they were aiming
Characters: Everyone else but Nooker shoots into moving direction not where players were aiming.

NEW CONTENT

Level: Treadmill
New Treadmill-level where your character controlling skills will be put to the test as you run on a constantly moving treadmill.
Level: Shrine
Enter the new pyramid inspired level where you can skewer the enemy players with using spike traps.
Reworked levels
We reworked the whole 3x3 level, which is now called Fissure. Nyley level also got a facelift.
2X WEAPON BUFFS

Boulder: The boulder now moves faster and is more controllable by the player. It also has a visual indicator for blowing the boulder up.
Mini missiles: The mini missiles now have faster firing rate and more missiles for 2x the fun
Shotgun: Shotgun felt a bit underwhelming and it's now buffed with more damage and bigger range
Super laser: Visual improvements and longer range
Missile: Faster speed to compensate the increased movement speed of the player characters
Flamethrower: Bigger range and the flames now stay on the ground for a while before they disappear

Build 0.11.0 - Bugfixes and optimizing
This update has been focusing on fixing bugs and testing new features in our underlying game engine (Unity). We finished moving to a new graphics pipeline, which should mean much better FPS for many players, especially if you have lower end devices, like laptops. The graphics cha
This update has been focusing on fixing bugs and testing new features in our underlying game engine (Unity). We finished moving to a new graphics pipeline, which should mean much better FPS for many players, especially if you have lower end devices, like laptops. The graphics change also meant that we had to redo much the overall look of the game, so we decided to go and "experiment" a little :)
Unfortunately there isn't much new content this time, people are traveling through events and having their much needed vacations. Currently we are working on weapon pick-ups and new weapons, and they should be in the next release in a couple of weeks.
New graphics pipeline
This should give better performance, but changes the overall look of the game at the same time
General bug fixes and changes

Bots can be dashed off map
You can rotate the character's head with mouse in waiting lobby
Score screen now displays correctly the number of players
A cartload of stability fixes
Made slight balance adjustments to weapons (very experimental)
AI is now smarter and more aggressive
Known bugs
The game gets stuck occasionally when last players kill each other at the same time, or the winning player commits suicide with his last life
Pressing back (game pad B or ESC) in waiting lobby (where you choose your character) before you have joined doesn't return you to main menu
Pressing back in map select causes 2 input events to be given, and the game goes to the main menu
Some characters' dashing animation allows you to briefly shoot through obstacles
Players can stun others with dash through thinner walls
Bots may spawn in incorrect places in level Fissure if the platforms start moving during spawn
Level changing can get stuck if the game is quit during a round's end

New additions

Whole new character selection UI
New character Quacker
Characters have laser sights
Options menu has laser sights on/off option
Dash goes 50% further, it's easier to hit robots and it stuns for 1 sec

Lately we haven’t updated as frequently as before, but we have been working hard “under the hood”. We have changed code structure from the ground up as well as
graphics rendering pipeline. Reason for these changes are the following: code management gets easier and we can make faster changes to the game, less errors and bugs.
A lot of our old code was not well suited for the features we want to implement for the final release, and we decided that now would be a good time to do an overhaul. Many of the features in the roadmap would have needed a lot of changes to our code base, and we expect the overhaul to speed up further development. That being said, our next release might have a bunch of new bugs since a lot of the code is completely new, and we would be thrilled if you could report them!
The graphics rendering pipeline change helps us to make game more optimized which results less stuttering and more fps for the gamers. We had noticed that a lot of you guys have had FPS problems with laptops and such, and we’d like to offer a pleasant experience for as many of you as possible.

In this build we improved character and gun particle visibility that players could see more clearly where they spawn and where everyone is moving.
There is lots of improvements to player UI, effects and character balancing which you can read more about from patch notes.
The players can also choose how many lives the players have per round, as well as how many rounds to play. If you select more than one round, you will instantly move to another round/map after the previous round/map has finished.
Patch notes
Character:

Added white half circle to indicate dash cooldown
Thicker half circle to indicate health
Spawn lightning effect is improved
New death animation
Characters have shields which indicate that others cannot kill another player, shield is refreshed when player spawn
UI and effects:

Added regeneration effect to waiting lobby shields
Now there is conveyor belt to waiting lobby
Improved gun particle effects
Removed lighting settings from options menu
Added back button and map icons to waiting lobby menu
Maps:

Waiting Lobby now has modifiers for players lives and rounds.

Build 0.4.1 - Interactible objects & traps, new style on Nyley, Spawn and Dash improvements

Also added more interactivity to other maps. 3x3-Lava map has flying rocks that will damage players if you get too close. With this in mind we want to add more fun activities, interactions and chaos to each map.
