An update about donations and about keeping what you configured. DonationAlerts connects again — the service changed its alerts page and the app stopped understanding it; that was the cause of the complaints about the previous version. YouTube Super Chats are back after being missing since early July, and amounts in currencies other than the dollar are finally calculated correctly — they used to be inflated. DonatePay no longer loses donations and StreamLabs no longer shows the same one twice. Settings stopped disappearing: the settings file now holds what you actually chose, not whatever managed to render in the window. After a dropped connection the chat no longer buries you in old messages, and your stream viewers will not see them in the widget either. The update module got an update of its own: installing into a system folder now asks for permission properly instead of looking like "I clicked and nothing happened".
Donations and events
DonationAlerts connects again. The service changed the layout of its alerts page, and the app could no longer find the connection address on it — while everything looked normal from the outside: the channel was added, no errors appeared, donations simply never arrived. The address is found again, and if the service changes something once more, the app will say plainly that the alerts link did not work instead of staying silent.
Donations and events (continued)
YouTube Super Chats and memberships are back. They had not been displayed since early July: paid viewer messages never reached the chat. Now they arrive again.
Correct Super Chat amounts in any currency. Donations in euros, rubles, hryvnia, Canadian and Australian dollars, reais and other currencies were converted incorrectly and shown inflated — in some cases by almost half. The amount now matches what the viewer actually paid.
DonatePay no longer loses donations. Some transactions could fail to reach the chat and the alerts; the list of payments is now read without gaps.
StreamLabs no longer shows the same donation twice.
A currency-rate failure no longer swallows a donation. If the rate service did not respond, the donation could previously be lost entirely. Now it still arrives, with the amount shown in its original currency.
VK (VK Video) stopped duplicating messages.
Settings and your data
Settings no longer disappear when saved. The settings window built part of its lists from whatever had already been drawn on screen, so a plain "Apply" could erase what you had set earlier — including your own alert texts. What gets saved is now your choice, not the state of the screen.
The settings file is no longer deleted because of folder-name capitalization. In a rare case the app treated its own file as foreign and removed it together with the backup, sending settings back to factory defaults.
An error in one section no longer cancels the rest. A failure while applying one group of settings could previously stop saving entirely.
A channel added in the same session can be removed again — previously it could only be removed after restarting the settings window.
Widget settings survive a restart and are no longer lost or duplicated.
Chat, history and widgets
After a dropped connection the chat no longer buries you in old messages. Missed messages are delivered only for the length of the outage, not from the start of the stream — and exactly once.
Viewers will not see old messages in the widget. When the OBS browser source reloaded, the widget could show chat history, including messages hidden by your filters. The widget now starts clean on reload, and filters apply to what was already received.
Game mode and the events widget stay quiet about history too — it belongs in the chat window, not in an overlay on top of your game.
The "in chat" counter shows an honest number.
Connecting to platforms
Connecting no longer fails silently. If something goes wrong at any step, the app says so in the channel log in plain words instead of leaving the channel in silence.
Reconnection survives changes to the channel list — editing a neighbouring channel no longer disrupts it.
Speech
Neural voices now have their own section and are not mixed with system and server voices.
The voice used to finish reading after a failure is now chosen in settings instead of being fixed.
Updates and installation
The update window no longer gets lost behind other windows. It is now shown on top of the rest: previously the update prompt could slip under the app's splash screen or any open window, and from the outside it looked as if nothing had happened.
Installing and updating into a system folder ask for permission properly. On a computer where the app is installed in Program Files, an update used to look like "I clicked and nothing happened": the window disappeared and the permission prompt went unnoticed. Now the window stays put, the action button shows the administrator badge, and after you confirm, the usual progress follows. On Linux the same flow uses the system password prompt.
The installation you launched the update from is the one that gets updated — if you have several on the computer, the others are left alone.
Shortcuts stop disappearing. Uninstalling removes only its own shortcut, and updating restores them if they went missing.
A second copy under another Windows session no longer blocks the update.
"Check integrity" no longer asks for administrator rights when it does not need them, and when they really are missing it says so in plain words.
The update module now updates itself. That makes future updates more reliable: fixes to the mechanism take effect right away instead of one release later.
If a new update module turns out to be broken, the app still updates and keeps the working one — an installation is never left without updates.
Uninstalling does not touch anything extra and does not affect data belonging to other installations.
Security
Your channel key is never shown on screen. Links containing the access key no longer appear in the chat, in the OBS widget or in tooltips — so they cannot end up on camera during a stream.
