Release 1.11.2

A small update following 1.11.1: custom emotes with keys in any language (including Cyrillic) work in chat again, voice-over plays cleanly on 5.1/7.1 surround systems and downloads more reliably, and your account sign-in data is no longer saved into exported settings or activity logs.

Emotes and emoji

--------------------

Custom emotes with keys in any language work again. If your emote's key was written in a non-Latin script (for example, in Russian), the emote could fail to trigger in chat. Now keys in Cyrillic and other alphabets are recognized and expanded into the emote as expected.

A hint for keys that are too short. The add/edit emote window now shows a "Not recognized as an emote" note if the key is too short to trigger in chat, and highlights the key field. It doesn't block saving — it's just a hint.

--------------------

Voice-over

--------------------

Clean sound on 5.1/7.1 systems. On surround-sound devices (5.1/7.1), voice-over previously played slowly and with distortion. It now plays cleanly with any speaker configuration.

More reliable voice-over downloads. Synthesized speech audio is now downloaded over the active server connection, just like the rest of the app's traffic. This is more stable, including when switching between servers.

--------------------

Privacy

--------------------

Sign-in data no longer ends up in export files and logs. When you export settings to a file, and in the app's activity logs, your account authorization data is no longer saved. This matters if you send such a file or log to support.

--------------------

The fresh 1.11.2 update is now available on the Nightly channel in Steam. The Beta and Default channels stay on their current versions for now.

--------------------

A quick reminder about Steam update channels:

Nightly — the latest builds (currently 1.11.2).

Beta — early testing (currently 1.10.0).

Default — the stable version for everyone (currently 1.9.169).

--------------------

How to switch: Steam → right-click sheepChat → Properties → Betas → pick a channel from the list.
