Friends, we see your messages about YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms. We understand that waiting is frustrating, especially when you need sheepChat during a live stream. We want to explain why the update has not been released yet.
The YouTube fix is already ready. This update also includes fixes for TikTok and a number of other important changes.
However, these fixes are currently part of a larger patch that affects many internal parts of sheepChat: platform connections, message processing, authorization, stability, and the overall connector system. Because of this, we cannot simply βquickly pull outβ only the YouTube fix and release it separately without risking breaking other features. Before release, we need to finish the current tasks, bring everything to a stable state, and make sure these fixes do not create new issues.
For YouTube, the temporary workaround remains the same: please use a direct livestream link in this format: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=*****
It is important that the link contains /watch?v= Channel links, @profile links, short links, and βshareβ links may currently work incorrectly or unstably. We are not ignoring bug reports.
On the contrary, many issues have already been fixed or are currently being worked on. This patch is simply larger than a regular small hotfix, so it needs a little more time before release.
Thank you to everyone who calmly reports details, screenshots, and logs. This really helps us find and fix problems faster.
