Update 1.3.0

It's update time again!

I've been working on a requested feature these past few days and I'm glad to announce it's now released!

Here comes the Volume Preset feature!

I've had a few requests and I've done a bit of research on the topic. While it might not be as useful as the two other features for the majority of people, there was definetely a demand for it and I thought it would be a good asset to have in order to gain a wider appeal.

What this feature essentially allows you to do is make different presets under different hotkeys. Each preset can be loaded with different applications and each application can have its own volume level.

When a hotkey for a preset is used, Quixer will set the volume of each applications to the values you configured. If you have different volume setups when doing different activities, this will definetely come in handy.

But that's not all!

If you don't know that yet, every time I touch my code, I also look at older features for things to improve! And sure enough, this time around is not an exception to that rule!

Here's a list

  • Fixed the crash occuring when checking the Show Numerical Value and Show 'Other Applications' Caption
  • Added the possibility to enable/disable each of the UI pop-ups
  • Added a Fade Out Timer for each UI pop-ups
  • Changed a few things in the configs (sorry 3 or 4 settings might be back to default values)
  • Furthered the re-designed of the Settings tab
  • A few other minor UI changes
  • The usual tiny bug squasing

What now?

The quest for improvement continues. While that's undergoing, I've decided to increase Quixer's price tag to $3 USD (from $2 USD) as it has become a bigger package. I've also re-written the store page's description to be more descriptive and appealing.

The last thing I want to do before starting to work on a new feature again is record and edit a new trailer. The current one has a special place in my heart, but it's missing a lot of what became key elements after a few months of receiving updates.

And that's about it folks! My report is complete! I'll now be enjoying some games after this bit of hard work!
