FINALLY, the update number we've slowly been working towards, 2.2.2! If only I was still 22 years old, but today was actually my birthday, so it's 23 instead. Yep... any other Steam games where the developer announces their own birthday in the patch notes? Just goes to show you the rawness and boundary breaking creative thinking that goes into STS. If you wanna get me a present, gift the game to your friends!
CHANGELOG
- Fixed an oversight that prevented new players from moving the cursor up on the pause menu. A very strange issue that I unfortunately can't explain without spoiling unlockables, but luckily its fixed now.
- Added save and game data integrity checks. These checks make sure important game files are in place and that you don't load any empty or corrupted saves.
- Reduced the volume of best score/time jingles on the High Score board. I was just doing some testing when suddenly my ears get blown out... I don't know how I didn't notice the volume disparity when I added those in, I apologize.
Originally there were also going to be only two changes, but then the third one on the list there happened to me at the last second, so there goes that. But hopefully what ISN'T going is your enjoyment of STS! Thanks for playing!
