Hello guys! How are you doing?
The day has finally come! Pigeons Attack is now out of Early Access mode and officially released on Steam! But don’t worry, this doesn’t mean the game won’t receive more cool stuff in the future.
Here is a summary of what has changed:
- Increased lightmap resolution, in other words, shadows look better now;
- Added an option to toggle Ambient Occlusion effect;
- Fixed a bug in the online multiplayer mode where sometimes death and life amount weren’t synchronized;
- Bug fixes and overall improvements.
Thank you very much!
As a solo indie developer, seeing people playing my game was my main fuel to continue the project, despite all the problems faced. Specially during face-to-face events, where I was able to hear the players laughing, making jokes and puns about pigeons and having fun with the game. That’s an awesome feeling that I wish all devs can experience it as well, in case you’re one or plan to be. The critics and suggestions were vital to improve the game. The online and local co-op mode were requests that you guys kept asking me, to name a few, and I’m really glad to have added them to the game.
Well, before I start crying and wet my keyboard (one must not show weakness while pigeons are watching), I would like to thank you all for playing the game! Thank you early access players, new players or if you just whishlisted it. Thank you for the suggestions, critics and for following/supporting the project for so long.
Hope you have fun playing the game, alone or with your friends!
Don’t forget to leave your suggestions and requests.
Thank you!
