The Brickochet Series

Hey there brick breakers! I wanted to let you know about the future plans of Brickochet.

First off, I'd like thank everyone for their support and feedback. It means a lot to see such positive critiques, comments, and anticipation for potential content.

Releasing new features and content requires time, energy, and to a lesser but significant extent, money. Creating new content is something I passionately enjoy doing, but it would not be financially conceivable to do so indefinitely. With extensive consideration on ways to deal with this factor, I have decided to plan new Brickochet titles!

I am therefore proud to announce the Brickochet series. The new title (probably called Brickochet 2) is still a very long way off, but will boast 100 levels, new power-ups, music, and level backgrounds, among other things.

Additionally, I have heard what many of you have said -- you want a level editor! Instead of having one for each game, I believe it would be best that a single game is made exclusively for this purpose. This is so the Brickochet community doesn't get broken apart and separated between releases. And yes, this means I intend for the game to have Steam Workshop support! I must admit however, that I could be getting waaaay over my head with this one. I'm just a simple self-taught developer, and I have no idea how to get this to work. It's going to take time. A lot of time!

Lastly, I promised some more music for Brickochet, and that indeed will be coming up next! Expect two new tracks sometime in February!
