Today's update marks the beginning of Airmen's Halloween tradition: The Spookening. This update adds a batch of scary new cosmetics and allows all previously added Spookening cosmetics to be unlocked for the duration of the event.

This year's Spookening adds the Black Knight set. Clad your airman in shiny black and gold armor and strike terror into the hearts of those that would challenge you. A ghostly pirate hat has also been added to match those who've completed the secret challenge to unlock the ghostly shoulder pigeon.
The Spookening cosmetics are all unlocked at the Blood Obelisk located on Horizon. Completing a pact of each difficulty will unlock each component of the Black Knight set and achieving maximum favor will unlock the ghost pirate hat. Bring a hearty vessel and brave crew mates to defeat the dread ships that will stand in your way.

Beyond the Spookening themed features of this update is an all new powerful component: the auto hammer. The auto hammer is a new ship component that will consume scrap loaded into it to repair nearby connected components. The goal of the component is to give solo captains access to repairs they would otherwise need human crew to obtain. The component itself however is very powerful and will likely become a must have on well built ships so prepare to update all your favorite vessels.
