The latest release of RuneSage focuses on improving the in-game mechanics. In particular, it provides a quicker method of casting spells, and more indications of how far through the game you are, but also a number of small tweaks to graphics and audio to help improve the immersion.
The full list of changes since V0.20.0 is as follows.
- Added a quick way of casting spells (just press and release the controller trigger).
- Added in-game items to show progress through the game.
- Added steam effects to lava caves.
- Added greebles throughout.
- Added more in-game help from NPCs.
- Improved pattern matching algorithm for spell casting.
- Improved pattern matching algorithm for rune drawing.
- Improved scroll texts.
- Fixed bug with calculation of overall progress.
- Fixed bug with chest audio.
- Fixed bug with picking up a map before its chest was open.
