Well, its be a long time coming; And I'm almost there.
TL:DR; Larry has been been almost completely restored, and will have some new touches added. (This kinda just made sense along the way).
Currently, I've been working hard at taking all the assets from the original build of Larry, and porting over all the code. As mentioned before the Source Code was lost in a Hard Drive crash... But found more recently on another device. Most if not all code has been re-written along the way, and a bunch of refactoring. I'm on the cusp of pushing an updated version.
Larry has got a model update, a proper controller input system has been added, weapons have been tweaked along the way... (And certain levels have been adjusted based on the rage I've seen on some YouTube videos early on. ːsteamhappyː ) That being said, I've started on the Steamworks end of things (Achievements, Stats, and more.) -- For Instance -- Level Score times will be factored into a leaderboard on each level Globally! And more achievements will be added very, very soon.
I'm pushing to get this in the hands of folks for the holidays,
More to come!
