TABS turns 10 years old today!
TABS was initially made at a game jam in 2016 while we were still working on Clustertruck. This day 10 years ago, we posted this trailer from what we had made at the jam - and people went bananas!
We released the pre-alpha and then the open alpha that same year, which you can still download on our website https://landfall.se/supersecretlink
We kept working on the game, posting many work-in-progress videos to YouTube! Many of them becoming legendary like this one.
In 2019 we finally released the game into early access and worked on it until the full release in 2021! It grew to a much larger game than we had initially imagined, adding the Unit Creator, multiplayer and more.
It’s been an incredible journey, and we’re so thankful to the TABS community for making our silly battle simulator into what it is today. All the fan art, the amazing custom content (you guys have made over 3 million downloadable campaigns and units!) and mods you guys create keep making the game better every day.
