Hello wobblers! Here’s a patch fixing some of the issues with the workshop units as well as giving the ice giant and minotaur back their clothes!
Patch Notes:

Removed the workshop refresh button binding option in the settings. This prevents a possible workshop refresh bug when trying to access the workshop.
Fixed the Minotaur shoulder pad and the missing ice giant belt.
Right Banshee upper arm bands can now be coloured in the unit creator.
We also Improved the unsupported props messaging in game to make it clearer which units are causing the problems:

Factions that contain unsupported units can now be added to the faction bar. However, when attempting to place an unsupported unit a new error message will show explaining how to fix the unsupported unit.
Alternatively, you can disable the unsupported unit safety checks in the Gameplay settings menu using the Validate Custom Content setting.
Certain mods were causing a "file linked expired" error message to appear. Several reported mods have been fixed but if you experience this with any other mods please do report these to us :)

Hello everyone! As promised, here's a bug patch and quality-of-life update for TABS!
TABS just turned 8 years old earlier this month, it's wild to think that so many of you have been following this game for that long. We're eternally grateful to you all for playing, providing feedback and suggestions to make the game better and we're excited to keep seeing what you create and share!
As we announced back in 2022 we will no longer be adding more content to the game after the small neon update earlier this year. This Quality of Life Patch is most likely also the last major bug patch to be released for the game. You can read the 2022 post explaining why here
Additions:

Added a refresh button and pop-up in the workshop to delete and refresh subscribed mods.
Added the ability to change campaign levels with custom maps.
Added a search bar to find battles in custom campaigns.
Added a feature to reset all campaign and secret unit progress.
Added a button to exit the unit test.
Added an explanation of traditional vs radial controls on PC.
Fixes:

Fixed motion blur always being on in Pirate and Renaissance maps.
Fixed issue with some workshop content always getting the "failed to subscribe/download" error.
Fixed broken textures on the church in the Main Menu Legacy map.
Fixed Spooky faction units displaying in the incorrect order.
Fixed Plasma Shot’s projectile objects making large explosions when hitting certain units.
Fixed map creator template images which were displayed as white squares.
Fixed the middle ability button from becoming too large or small.
Fixed the buttons on the Miner unit’s pants.
Fixed an audio issue with Harpoon projectiles.
Fixed the rotation of the Shattering Sharpness 3 sword.
Fixed the Tempest Lich’s targeting range.
Fixed missing filter tags in Workshop search filters.
Fixed an issue with healed units not taking damage from Tesla shots.
Fixed an issue with the Tesla and Stasis neon projectiles' damage values not scaling with the damage multiplier.
Fixed an issue where the battle selection screen did not reopen when re-entering the campaign creator.
Fixed the floating grass in the Ancient Main Menu map.

We're also working on a new game called HASTE: Broken Worlds where you run fast, leap through the air, and perfect your landings as you try again and again to make your way through an infinite number of worlds falling apart behind you! You can check out HASTE here.

This update is the last planned update for TABS as detailed in the roadmap, we will keep track of any accidental bugs introduced in this build for future patches but past this update, we have no plans for more content for the game.
We’re immensely grateful to you all for joining us on this journey over the last 7,5 years! It’s bittersweet to finally be able to release this update.
It has been amazing to see this community grow and create your own factions, units, and external mods that will keep the game fresh forever. If you’re curious as to why we’re not planning any further updates we have spoken about the reasons on the roadmap page.
We’re currently working on a couple of new games, one of which is HASTE: Broken Worlds - a game where you run fast, leap through the air, and perfect your landings as you try again and again to make your way through an infinite number of worlds falling apart behind you!

Fixes:

Fixed bug where the keyboard in local multiplayer would control both players under some conditions
Fixed offset rider positions
Units now sink on custom maps
The cooldown timer no longer overlaps the attack UI when possessing slower-ranged units
The water does not turn gray anymore when zooming in
Flying units do not have SPACE written horizontally anymore when possessing them.
Mouse and gamepad can be used to select options when swapping between inputs with the Save/Load menu.
Fixed some of the items having missing thumbnails textures and icons
You can now update custom unit names.
Made adding custom factions to the radial menu is more efficient
Fixed an issue with the dark peasant's hands
Fixed some issues connected to the mod.io backend

Added Map Creator mode
Fixed Sarissa units spinning on spawn
Fixed multiple custom unit clothing items that weren't rendering properly when placed in a battle
Fixed multiple custom unit props that were missing or incorrectly displayed
Fixed some localization issues
Fixed issues where some achievements (Make Them Fly, You Are Billy the Kid, Arrows From the Cart, and Castlevanic) were not unlocking as expected
Fixed an issue where the user was unable to name a custom unit or custom faction
Fixed an issue where custom factions wouldn't load after restarting the game
Fixed some input conflicts that would occur if the player was swapping between a gamepad and keyboard/mouse
Improved game stability to prevent crashes

Especially interesting for TABS players is that Landfall Archives contain a TABS build from 2017 with the 2.0 physics system before it was scrapped in favor of the current 3.0 system. It’s a look at where TABS was in development 6 years ago, it’s a bit buggy but we hope you will enjoy it!
