Big one. Achievements, save slots, cloud saves, and the whole front door got rebuilt.
STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS
33 of them. A few are hidden. Some take five minutes. One takes a few hundred hours. Good luck with that one.
Already deep in? Anything your save already proves (bosses down, levels, dogs, corruption) unlocks the first time you load in. No re-grinding.
Pile 'Em Up tracks your kill count on your Steam profile, so you can watch it crawl.
3 SAVE SLOTS
Hit PLAY and you get the NODE login. Three nodes, three Darrells.
Start a fresh run without nuking your main, or give someone else in the house their own.
Empty nodes say NO CARRIER. Pick one and you dial in fresh.
[DEL] erases a node. It asks first.
Your existing save moves into NODE 1 automatically. Nothing lost. I made a backup anyway, because I'm paranoid.
Switch nodes mid-game from Options > Switch Node.
Wipe Save now only wipes the node you're on.
CLOUD SAVES
Saves are real files now, and Steam Cloud backs them up. Play on another PC and your nodes come with you.
NEW TITLE SCREEN
The menu is a terminal window now, hanging in the corridor. It tilts, it drifts, it leans toward your mouse. The login swings in front of it.
Darrell's footage got a new look. The cyan and pink are gone. Now it looks like old data: washed out, color bleeding off the edges, the signal falling apart. Same on the walk-in and the dial-in portrait.
Options got the same window treatment and slimmed way down.
DARRELL RADIO
Scrub bar. Drag through the song. Stations only: boss music and town still own the air.
Tiny pixel EQ. Because it's cute.
New layout: EQ left, track in the middle, controls on the right. Like a car stereo. Remember those? No? Cool. Cool cool cool.
FIXES
Quitting or switching nodes now waits for your save to finish writing before it leaves.
With achievements live, save slots available, and menus polished, it's time to get back to building the weird, fun shit again. Stick around, or don't. Worst case scenario Darrell dies alone, you monster.
