The build, place, and edit panel are now part of a ribbon layout. There's also tabs for wiring and raid mode. Hide floors and visual features have been moved to the left side.
The old UI was never planned beyond the original layout so long ago. It was mostly cobbled together as new features were added. I also felt the need to do this based on reviews and refunds complaining about the UI. Hopefully this shouldn't feel too different and I'm willing to make changes based on feedback.
If you really don't like it, there's a new branch titled "update138_old_UI".
Boat building is still a work in progress but it will take awhile, I've been busy with other things and haven't been able to monetarily justify spending a lot of time on this app.
Other changes:
added fluorescent lights, beanbag, mannequin, and wall cabinet
added space station skin override to copy-paste export
fixed blank file list items that were caused by very long names
patched multiplayer material bug that had to do with wallpapers
EDIT:
Thanks for the kind words below!
I've received some feedback about the new layout taking up too much vertical screen space. To address this there's a patch that slightly reduces the build panel height and adds a place panel toggle (arrow on the left) to change the row count from 3 to 2. Oh and hide deploys works again.
I'm planning on adding the rust April update content relatively soon.
