First off, thank you all for the amazing reception the game has had in the first 24 hours, it really means a lot to me. However, the mine yearns for more blasting, so let's get straight to the point!
I've added a new alternate game mode: the Core Rift. Featuring arcade-style gameplay, once you reach max prestige, you can spend 500k Gold to enter the Core Rift.
The Fuse: Your fuse acts as both your ammo and health bar. Throwing bombs spends fuse and it continually drains over time, but destroying blocks refills it. If the fuse runs out, the run ends.
Endless Waves: The board auto-refills continuously. Each new wave scales in difficulty with tougher, higher-value ore.
Score Multipliers: Maintaining a fast destruction rate increases your score multiplier. Easing off drops the multiplier.
Auto-Loot: All loot auto-collects during rift runs so you can focus purely on placement and speed.
Gold Sink Modifiers: Before starting a run, you can spend gold on run modifiers, such as increased fuse length, richer ore density, or the Volatile Rift modifier for a 3x score multiplier.
New Achievements
5 new achievements have been added, tied directly to Core Rift progression.
Other Changes
The skill tree nodes "Apex" and "No Diet" have 1 additional rank.
FragMiner v1.2 is already live, so you can dive into the chaotic Core Rift immediately! Hope you enjoy it... now blast away!
