Hi, I'm Arbiter Waldorff of NOT REAL GAMES.
Welcome to my first game (that I release on Steam, anyway)!
Now, it's not a looker, but for what it's worth, there's a certain charm in its current state!
Albeit in the Atari 2600, or "your five-year-old made you a painting" kind of way. It was
really expensive, but you can't help but admire the potential(?) of what could eventually
become; the only difference being this shit is fifty years past its prime, and what's more:
IT'S FREE!
well, the demo is
Regardless, here's what I hope to implement or fix for later versions, in no particular order:
THINGS THAT ARE ALREADY ON MY LIST FOR THE DEMO:
There's a bug where players respawn if they get eliminated and rejoin the lobby.
By the way, please don't exploit that just because I told you.
Your color is randomized, and you can't pick and choose your own.
There is no title screen yet; only an interface to join or host a lobby.
Conversely, there is no options menu to turn off the god-awful music.
Sometimes, when the maze regenerates, gold spawns on top of the player.
The player collects this gold, but the graphic remains in the world.
WHAT I DID IMPLEMENT FOR NOW:
The core gameplay loop, along with fixes that:
Prevent the player from getting stuck in walls for an entire minute.
Makes gold get rendered and collected at the correct positions.
Keeps the maze data consistent amongst clients.
