Hello, and welcome back to the Devblog. Important things to say this week.
It is true that the last weeks we have delayed with the trailer and last week there was no devblog. The truth is, many things are going on at the same time. A lot of work going on continuously through our pipeline, inevitably slowing down each individual piece of work on it’s own.
Trailer
Clips are nearly made and will be soon sent to the video compiling staff. This means the trailer 2.0 might appear in the weekend.
Q1 2016
It is nearing the end of Q1 and the engine and game are not ready. In the first place, as our publishers mentioned earlier with our partner game, Soldiers: Arena, the engine is still to receive several improvements and new features which shall be finished before the early access debut. On another note, the game’s units, assets and visuals grew in ambition in the last months, and this increased our workload. For example, in our current position, we believe that it will be possible to remake most of not all vehicle models before initial release, which is something that has never been even thinked upon for a game of the saga after Men of War.
We don’t have a new release date. But hence our next estimate is Q2.
Pricing
Publishers set the price of Gates of Hell Early Access as 15 USD average. I remind you that the price of the Early Access will be slightly cheaper than after main release. Early Access will grow up to a total of 2 complete factions with campaigns and multiplayer game modes through the years 1941-45 (Eastern Front).
The 15 USD average is a mean factor considering that some regions will sell more expensive than others. Publishers have stated, that in Europe and the US it will be set slightly more expensive, and the opposite on other regions that by standard carry internationally lowered videogame prices.
In addition, some retailers from around the world have contacted us and our publishers will decide upon retailing the game out of Steam if they see fit.
