Hey whats up. It's time for a new patch.

Patch notes:
This patch has mainly been focusing on fixing lag, adding content and improving combat.

Since last patch mid august i have pushed around 90 commits to git. Many of the fixes wont be noticed right away, as they arent visual or directly gameplay related, but more stability updates to make the game run smoother.

Main areas:
Combat:
-Player vs bandits - should feel a lot smoother now
-Workers vs bandits
-Combat vs wildlife

-Added a bow for the player - player can now hunt and engage in combat with bows.

-Added shields and bows for NPCs, melee and ranged combat
-Formations.

-Added stats to armor for damage reduction.

-Bandits can raid and destroy your base, but your villagers can also defend it.

-misc
-new visual gear updates
-bandit raids
-lot of optimizations

Going forward
This should be the last push for fixing stuff and optimizing. Over the next couple of weeks ill be working on overhauling UI and a lot of the worldbuilding. Also gonna focus on making a new trailer to better reflect the new game additions.

I would not say this is a 1.0 coming soon but, the game is nearing its completion of what i had in mind when i originally started creating it. I wanted it to be an interactive third person game playing out between a blend of rts and rpg, and i think i have soon achieved that goal. Hiring villagers to aid you, having them help craft and build, as well as gear up, go to combat, hunt etc. seeing it all come alive.

whats missing now is just visual polish and making the game more presentable and appealing, but most of the performance bottlenecks should soon be gone.
