In this update, I've focused on polishing the moment-to-moment experience without softening the edge that makes this game.. Here's what's new:
Key Item Notifications No more guessing what you just picked up! Whenever you acquire a key item, an on-screen prompt will now briefly describe it, helping you stay oriented and focused on your next task.
Dynamic Puzzle Hints Your character will now offer subtle, context-sensitive hints if you spend time trying to solve a puzzle. These hints are natural and immersive, woven into the character’s thoughts, and never give away the solution outright. They simply nudge you in the right direction, preserving the game’s challenge while cutting down on frustration.
Improved Note Logic Notes and clues remain a core part of the puzzle-solving experience. I’ve refined their presentation and reinforced their logic, so solutions feel earned, not cryptic.
This update keeps the difficulty intact, but removes the pain points. Whether you're playing for the first time or diving back in, I hope these changes make the experience even more engaging. ːsteamhappyː
