Hey again ! The playtest for the explorer mode is finally live ! If you still haven't requested access, you can do so on the steam store page of the game right now.
For those who already requested access, you should have a notification from steam telling you that you've been invited to the playtest, the playtest build will then be available in your steam library.
The Purpose of this playtest
This is important. The purpose of this playtest is to find as many bugs as possible to fix them before release. There is probably many bugs lurking around aswell as performance issues, crashes ect... Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and is Key to making Seclusion as good as it can be. Of course, the purpose is not only to find bugs but also gather your feedback on the gameplay, visuals, atmosphere ect... so i can know if i did direct the game in a good direction, or not.
If you like the game, tell me. If you didn't like the game, tell me why and what could be improved.
My main objective for Seclusion is to make a game with a compelling story that is fun and hassle-free for everyone to enjoy at a reasonable price ^^
And to do that, i need your feedback.
More Infos
I made 2 Guides in the Official discord server that you can follow (how to play in multiplayer/the base rules of the explorer mode)
These guides are probably going to be expanded or new ones could be added. Also, If you want to make a guide, you can do it ^^
The explorer mode is meant to be hard and unforgiving aswell as fun and unpredictable. I think it is pretty hard as i wanted it to be, but your feedback will greatly help me balance the difficulty so it doesn't break the fun.
The level 0 featured in the playtest contains 15+ items with diverse functions to play with. It won't be the case for the Early Access version as items will be scattered in different levels.
Tips
Find a flashlight as soon as possible, Save often, don't stay too close the walls.
Thank you for sticking with me and...
