We’ve spent much of this month testing and polishing Shizuru’s scenes. That includes fixing technical issues, tightening the writing, and occasionally rebuilding parts that weren’t quite meeting our standards. It’s painstaking work, but the result is a noticeably stronger and more polished experience. The Erica/Hana content is now complete and will enter testing next. We expect to make some additional adjustments once we see everything working together in-game, with that round of testing planned for September.
Meanwhile, Erica, Hana, and Tomie have discovered that three is not, in fact, a crowd. Provided the bed is big enough. This means that our fantastic artist has been working on the final training scene: Erica/Stacy. The first half actually focuses on Erica having some fun with Hana and Tomie while Michael trains with Stacy elsewhere, so this month’s preview contains a particularly generous concentration of beautiful women.

The artist will now move on to the Michael/Stacy half of the scene. After that, we have the remaining Shizuru DLC backgrounds and the Shizuru ending artwork to complete. In other words: the list of unfinished art is getting gratifyingly short. Once the Shizuru content is complete, we’ll begin the final testing pass for both the base game and the DLC. That stage will include balancing, bug fixing, music implementation and reworking, plus the inevitable small details that only reveal themselves once everything is assembled.
When we’re satisfied with the full build, it will be submitted to Steam for review.
There is still careful work ahead, but the project is steadily moving out of production and toward final testing. We’re excited to see the remaining pieces come together and we’ll have more progress and artwork to share in the next update.
