the year is already half over, so I'm hurrying up to get this post out! 🥵
What we did last month:
1. The first members of our Discord server playtested our demo! 🥳
This month, we launched our semi-public demo playtest on Discord. That means the first people from outside our extended circle have now tested our demo!!! The feedback has been very good so far (and there were no game-breaking bugs during the Discord playtests too - though there were some in other playtests lol (((but they occured on Linux which is not supported))))

2. We added more music to the game! 🎻
Since the orchestral recording sessions in March, our composer Luca has been hard at work making additional recordings with guitarists, mandolin players, cellists, and on his own piano to expand the musical range of Golembert. Depending on the mood, you can now experience our soundtrack featuring everything from soaring brass to the laid-back sounds of the mandolin.

And what are we currently working on?
1. We are working on the Herbit settlement! 🏙️
Now that our demo is technically complete and contains everything intended, we are turning our attention back to the full game. While the demo does not allow you to build the Herbit Settlement, from which expeditions to other islands can be launched, the full game will let you not only build it but also expand it. We are currently creating the visual assets for these expansion.
2. We’re adding Susu’s portraits! ☠️🦜
All the demo's NPCs (Helio and Herbit) and Golembert already have their portraits implemented. In the full game, in addition to these two characters, you will also encounter the Trade Co. franchisees Milly and Maynard (who also already have their portraits implemented) and the pirate captain Susu very early on. The latter does not yet have portraits in the game, so we are currently adding them.
