WIP Wednesday

Do not fret friends, we have many more Cuirasses to spoil you with. This week, however, we thought we would share some coming mace designs.

Bauer: a small one-handed war pick/mace hybrid found in German speaking lands as well as in Bohemia.

Pasieka: a cube-headed mace, found all around from Germany, Poland, Bohemia and all the way to Hungary.

Becker: this is more of an war weapon, usually seen on longer shafts. More of an battlefield weapon than civilian self defense.

Gortz: a more compact war pick than Bauer and Laval. Found in manuscripts and paintings from around the German-speaking lands.

Weber: this is a morning star. Against popular belief, it is not a flail. Paired with a studded shaft.

Laval: another war pick/mace with a short pick and seemingly 4 fingers holding small dagger. Do not be fooled, all five fingers are there. More of a west European design.

Bednarz: one of the more common and wildly used mace design. A simple club on a long shaft. Simple, effective, and easy to make.

So tell us, which style are you most excited break some bones with?
