1.0 Beta is here!
The wait is finally over… The Dead Await – 1.0 Beta is here. 🧟♂️
After a long journey of building, testing, breaking, fixing, and rebuilding again, the full game is now complete and available to play in Beta. This means the entire experience is ready, but we’re opening it up to players early so we can polish everything together with your feedback before the final release.
Instead of rushing to a full launch, we chose to take the extra step and make sure the world of The Dead Await is as solid and immersive as possible.
What the 1.0 Beta includes:
• New locations to explore across the world
• New enemies and bosses to survive against
• More loot, including new weapon mods, cooking recipes, weapons, and armor
• Character skins, the Z-Shop, and the Vault Safe system
• Lots of small fixes, balancing changes, and improvements
While the game is fully playable from start to finish, this Beta phase is about refinement. We'll be focusing on:
• Bug fixes and stability improvements
• Gameplay balance
• Performance optimization
• Quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback
Your feedback will directly shape the final 1.0 release, so if you encounter anything strange, broken, or just have ideas on how things could be better - we want to hear it.
We'll be covering the new features in more detail in our upcoming devlog.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
If we haven’t responded to your feedback yet, please bear with us a little longer. Thank you for your patience 🤍
