The Demo v1.0.28 update introduces flower gardens and parks to the game, along with several bug fixes and adjustments. Additionally, a mechanic allowing villagers to rest at parks has been added. Several other features not included in the demo have also been developed.
What's New in Demo?
- Flower Gardens: These decorative structures increase the land value of a specific area. You can use small, medium, and large flower gardens to fill in unused tiles and enhance the land value of the surrounding area.
- Parks: Like flower gardens, parks increase the land value of a specific area but are more effective. Parks are also used by villagers to rest during warm and hot weather. Building a park near workplaces can increase work efficiency by allowing villagers to rest closer to their jobs instead of traveling home.
- Smokehouse: A building that dries and preserves meat and fish, significantly extending their shelf life.
Features Not Included in the Demo:
- Level 2 Town Center: The town center can be upgraded to level 2 when certain conditions are met.
- Level 2 Houses: These houses offer advantages over level 1 buildings, including better durability, insulation, and slower decay rates.
- Granary: A storage building necessary to keep grain and flour safe from rats.
- Root Cellar: A storage building that significantly slows the decay rate of food resources.
- Treasury House: A storage building that prevents gold from being stolen by villagers when kept in open storage.
- Windmill: A structure that grinds grain into flour, which is then used for baking bread.
- Bakery: Uses flour produced by the windmill to bake large quantities of bread. Bread has a short shelf life but is a preferred option for feeding a large population due to its fast production rate.
- Cheese Maker: A building where milk, which has a short shelf life, is turned into cheese with a longer shelf life.
- Sawmill: A production building that creates planks used in the construction of level 2 houses, ships, and furniture.
- Market: A structure where commonly consumed resources are sold, generating varying amounts of gold depending on the product.
- Rats: A mechanic where grain and flour stored outside the granary warehouse are targeted by rats, consuming these resources periodically.
- Gold Theft: A mechanic where small amounts of gold stored outside the treasury are periodically stolen by villagers.
For the early access release of the game, the remaining features to develop include fires, trade with neighboring villages, shipbuilding (partially developed), exploration missions, and the production of luxury resources. Once these are completed within the next 1-2 months, followed by a short promotional period, the game will be ready for launch(hopefully).
