🌿 What is Islantiles?
If you’ve enjoyed the strategic depth of Keep Keepers, you’ll feel right at home - but this time, we’re heading to the islands.
Islantiles is a cozy roguelite city puzzler with deckbuilding mechanics, built by the same two - person team behind Keep Keepers. You’ll place buildings from a custom deck to create beautiful, high-scoring island settlements. You’ll combine those buildings with up to 5 out of 150 technologies to create mind blowing synergies - then lose it all and start again with new tools, unlocked techs and better ideas.
There’s no combat, no timers and no micromanagement - just relaxing gameplay, layered strategy and endless possibilities.
🔑 Core Features
- 🃏 Deckbuilding Meets City Building - Build a custom deck of tiles to shape your islands
- 🧠 150+ Unlockable Technologies - Discover game-changing upgrades through a branching tech web
- 🏝️ 100 Hand-Crafted Islands - Each with its own unique layout and challenges
- ♻️ Roguelite Progression - Lose your deck on failure, keep your techs and evolve every run
- 🌊 Calming, Strategic Gameplay - No timers, no stress - just thoughtful placement and synergy
- 🏆 Leaderboards & Highscores - Compete or play at your own pace
❌ What It’s Not
To be super clear:
Islantiles is not a 4X, there’s no combat, no citizen simulation and no time pressure. It’s pure, peaceful strategy - built to be as chill or challenging as you want it to be.
💬 Why We Made It
We wanted to explore a different kind of strategy game - something that’s just as deep, but more meditative. With Keep Keepers, we learned how much you all value smart mechanics and emergent gameplay. Islantiles takes that spirit and gives it a totally new form.
We’re incredibly proud of how it’s shaping up and would love your support as we continue development.
🏰 What about Keep Keepers
We feel that Keep Keepers is in a pretty good place right now, but we’re not done yet. In fact, we’re already planning another content update.
It’s not ready to be announced just yet—but stay tuned, we’ve got something in the pipeline 👀
We’ll continue supporting Keep Keepers while we work on Islantiles and we’re incredibly excited to be building both communities side-by-side.
