What is new in this update

bHaptics integration

bHaptics is now supported. The world around you now lands on your body, not just in your ears.

The blaster has been completely reworked

Rebuilt from the ground up. New projectile behaviour, new feedback, new feel. It has gone from a thing you hold to a companion that is genuinely satisfying to fire.

UI overhaul

The interface has been redesigned and the text reworked, so menus and prompts are far easier to read in headset.

Map rework

The map has been rebuilt for better performance and a noticeably higher quality look.

Hand calibration

You can now calibrate your hands in game, so CRYODEATH fits properly across the range of VR headsets people are playing on.

Performance overhaul

A broad optimisation pass across the whole game.

Options now persist

Your settings save between sessions. No more setting everything up again at the start of every playthrough.

Lighting fixes

Lighting has been corrected across the board.

Fixes

Fixed certain levels not loading correctly and dropping players into a black screen

And lots and lots of tiny fixes

Keep it coming

This build exists because testers told us what broke. If you are joining the playtest for the quest version, report everything you hit. It all gets read. And if you are new to the steam version - come to the discord tell us what you love the most (or hate) and get some of your ideas added to the game!
