CryoDeath x bHaptics Partnership Announcement

Hello everyone,

We’re incredibly excited to officially announce that CryoDeath VR is now partnered with bHaptics.

As part of this partnership, bHaptics have provided us with TWO full development kits to help bring advanced full-body haptic immersion to CryoDeath and future Panic Point Games projects.

For our small independent VR team, this is honestly a huge milestone and allows us to properly develop and test advanced haptic systems fully in-house.

Full bHaptics Support Planned

Our immediate focus is implementing full bHaptics support for CryoDeath ahead of the Quest launch.

Planned features currently include:

• Creature encounter feedback

• Environmental interactions

• Weapon impacts and recoil

• Damage response

• Atmospheric effects

• Potential Heartbeat

• And much more...

Our goal is to make you physically feel the tension, atmosphere and panic of CryoDeath in a way that pushes immersion even further.

Quest Development Expansion

Alongside this partnership, we’ve also expanded our internal Quest hardware lineup and now actively develop and test across:

• Meta Quest 3

• Meta Quest 3S

• Meta Quest 2

This now gives us the ability to properly and efficiently develop across the full Quest ecosystem internally with much stronger:

• Standalone optimisation

• Hardware testing

• Compatibility coverage

• Performance validation

We’d like to give a massive thank you to the bHaptics team for believing in what we’re building and supporting the project.

More development updates, standalone footage and haptics showcases coming very soon.

Thank you all for the continued support.
