New
- Added a new task where you have to find and feed a stray cat that has somehow wandered into the factory.
- Added a new sound effect for when players successfully complete a task: a round of applause from the mannequin.
- Added a new mini-game where you have to play "Simon Says" with the mannequin. It's harder than it sounds.
- The flashlight now has a disco mode, which makes it flash different colors and play funky music.
- The mannequin will occasionally wear a party hat and blow a kazoo, just to celebrate your progress.
- Added a new "Jumpscare" difficulty mode for players who want an extra challenge.
- Introducing a new enemy - a giant sentient broom that will chase you down and clean you out of the factory.
- Added a new power-up that gives you temporary invincibility to the mannequin's stare.
- Added a new collectible - a rubber chicken - for players to find throughout the factory.
- Added a new task: "Fix the Unfixable" where players must repair broken objects with random items found in the factory. Good luck!
- Added a new game mode: "Mannequin's Revenge" where players play as the mannequin and must catch Malcom before he completes his tasks.
- Added a new item: "Pizza Cutter" which can be used as a weapon against the mannequin. Please note that the mannequin is not affected by pizza.
- Added a new easter egg: "The Abandoned Easter Basket" where players can find hidden Easter eggs scattered throughout the factory.
Changes
- The mannequin will now occasionally break into song and dance routines, because why not?
- The mannequin's eyes will now follow your mouse cursor around the screen, just to keep you on your toes.
- The mannequin will occasionally wear a party hat and blow a kazoo, just to celebrate your progress.
- Replaced the mannequin's haunting gaze with a cute puppy-dog look to make it less scary.
- Reduced the number of tasks each night to two, because even maintenance workers need a break.
- Added a 10% chance for any task to be a dance-off with the mannequin, because who doesn't love a good dance-off?
- Replaced the creepy music with 80s synth-pop to lighten the mood.
- The game will now take place in space because I accidentally deleted the factory asset and can't get it back
Fixes
- Fixed a bug where players were unable to order a pepperoni pizza, even though they clearly specified it in the task.
- Fixed a bug where the pallets in the factory were actually just giant marshmallows in disguise. Sorry for the confusion!
- Fixed a bug where players were able to glitch through walls and discover a secret disco room. That's for the sequel!
- Fixed an issue where the mannequin would sometimes break the fourth wall and offer players life advice.
- Fixed an issue where Malcom would sometimes turn into a giant pizza after being caught by the mannequin.
- Fixed an issue where players would sometimes get stuck in a never-ending loop of ordering pizza.
- Fixed an issue where the factory's backstory would randomly change every time the game was played.
- Fixed an issue where the mannequin would occasionally start singing showtunes instead of chasing Malcom.
- Fixed an issue where the game would crash if players tried to use the "Pizza Cutter" on the mannequin (turns out the mannequin is immune to pizza-related weapons).
Enjoy and April Fools :)
