...a new threat appears!

All models for the new Tors (SA-15) mobile SAM are now complete and I shall be working on getting this unit in game ASAP. There's quite a lot of work to be done as not only will I need to rig the vehicle and missile but I will also need to update the Threat Display to visually show incoming Radar pings & missiles.

The Tors will have a maximum range of around 12km but, thankfully, a minimum range of around 1.5-2km. However, it is likely to be used in conjunction with Strela and/or Shilka units.

I will also be updating the detection system so that each helicopter will have 3 detection profiles - Visual, Heat & Radar. This will allow me to build 360 degree profiles for each and this will effect the ability for enemy vehicle to detect them as well as how effective missiles & countermeasures will be.

I will also be introducing the Sidearm missile to give you some ability to strike back and I also plan on some Wild Weasel support units.

Until then enjoy the relative safety of the current combat environment...ːsteammockingː
